Martine and Guy were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. I was there during the tremendous heat and the swimming pool was perfect for cooling off. A 5 minute walk to the village and the Dordogne and along the tow path set off the day perfectly followed by a croissant from the bakery and a coffee from the Au coin cafe/bar. Close to lots of interesting places to visit and if you like padel, Big Padel club is less than 10 minutes away. Very pleased with my choice of stay. Thank you both

Excellent séjour!

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans ce gîte sur les hauteurs de Mouleydier! Le gîte lui-même était très confortable, bien équipé et décoré avec goût. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la tranquillité de l'endroit, sans vis à vis et également la piscine privée! Martine et Guy nous ont accueillis chaleureusement et sont très sympathiques. Merci à eux pour leur discrétion et les conseils donnés sur les activités à faire dans la région. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce gîte situé sur les hauteurs de Mouleydier dans un environnement calme et sans vis-à-vis. Bien que leur maison soit située sur le même terrain que le gîte, nos hôtes ont été particulièrement discrets tout en étant très accueillants lors de notre arrivée et la veille de notre départ. Le gîte est très spacieux, très bien équipé et fort bien entretenu. Bref, nous recommandons sans aucune réserve ! Un grand merci à Martine et Guy !

Charming villa in beautiful surroundings

A charming little villa that the photos don’t do justice. The owners were friendly and available but were discreet during our stay. The pool and external area was fantastic, due to the high temperatures Guy and Martine had made the car port area into a shady sitting area which was appreciated. Highly recommended, we had a lovely time.. Thank you.

Nice house - strange service.

The house is actually nicer than the photos indicates, the kitchen could be better equipped, there is no AC. The owner kept locking himself into the house to check if we switched the lights off when we weren’t there without asking. To us that was unacceptable. The owner does not speak English, so luckily one of us spoke French. La maison est plus jolie que les photos l’indiquent. Cependant la cuisine aurai pu être mieux équipé, il n’y a pas de four par example. Le propriétaire n’arretait pas d’entrer dans la maison quand nous n’y étions pas pour vérifier que les lumières soient éteints, pas acceptable à notre avis.

Friendly hosts who were available if needed but respected our privacy completely. Lovely old converted property that was clean and well equipped. The pool was fantastic. Had to pay an extra 15 euros for bedding on arrival and no towels or teatowels provided. No kettle available but luckily we had one with us. Conveniently situated to visit this beautiful part of France. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the property.
