The windows and the French doors offer a beautiful view on the canal and Spanjaardsgat. There is a private bathroom with shower, a sink and a toilet. The apartment is located on the first floor, at the front, with a beautiful view of the canal, in a historic stepped gable building from 1897, the ground floor of which is used by café Dok 19, a leading café with a (heated) terrace, located on the water with lots of sun in the afternoon.
The beating of the nearby large church tower are part of the city sounds, in addition to the sound of the terrace and music (sometimes) until late and sometimes live music form downstairs and/or in the vicinity.
