Lovely area, functional caravan with a great beach

The caravan park is lovely, with everything you could need for a family - an entertainment area, a swimming pool with a park for the children and literally right on the beach. However, there are a lot of owner occupier caravans which means they behave like they own the entire park and by this i mean the outside of the caravan next to us was like a junk yard sale with rubbish and metal strewn across it. 7am on Sunday morning they were outside with a little one on the trampoline making as much noise as is humanly possible. The caravan we stayed in was functional but not very clean, we did call the cleaning contractors after a 3 hour wait for them to arrive we went out and i cleaned it properly myself. For the items to be missed (believe it was some sort of rotting food down the back of the sofa cushions) then a covid clean never happened. Clacton itself was gorgeous, overall we overspent, got sun burnt and had a proper British holiday will definitely go back.

Avoid this place at all costsThe campsite is very run down Or cavennaugh was next to a permanent residence of travellers there were stolen cars been driven around the site near the running children over No security and park management are ridiculous
