The property was wonderful. If anything the pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean and well-stocked. The beds were comfortable. The heated pool and hot tub were great. Parking was accessible. The host was fabulous. Laure was super helpful with advice on places to visit and the best parking spots. We loved our short stay and highly recommend this accommodation.

Great vaccation in Brittany

We were really impressed by the lovely house and the beautiful countryside. David and Laure gave us great tips for excursions. The kids enjoyed the pool, billard and and of course the cats and we love the Crepe event. It was a great holiday for all of us.

A wonderful place with great hosts

We had a fantastic time at Le Piggeonier. It's a beautiful place, full of character and charm. The gardens are beautiful and carefully cared for. There are loads of games and things to do to entertain the children. The house is well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The pool is great - perfect temperature for hot summer days and we had it to ourselves most of the time. A lovely setting for it too. The village of Saint Helene is really peaceful and not far from some great places (Dinan is a must) and beaches. Laure and David are superb hosts. Friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Laure went above and beyond when I had a medical issue which required nursing care. Really lovely people who clearly care about giving their guests a great experience. We definitely intend to return. Just one thing to note: you have to pay extra for towels. This is not unreasonable as the accommodation price reflects very good value, it's just not very clear at time of booking.

A wonderful holiday

Thank you Laure and David for such a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful with everything we could need to make our holiday perfect. We loved that our children (4 & 2) were safe and had the space to play outside and the pool area is wonderful. We stayed the previous year with a large group of family in The Manoir and had such a great time that we returned with our family of 4 this time. There is now a bakers a few minutes walk so we enjoyed fresh croissants each morning. There are some lovely towns nearby and some beautiful beaches to visit. We hope to come and visit again.

A perfect week

We had a fantastic week staying at Le Pigeonnier. David and Laure were the perfect hosts, very kind and welcoming with lots of top recommendations for restaurants, beaches, local walks and activities. The accommodation was immaculately presented with all essentials provided for including a cot, high chair and baby bath for our 1 year old. The idyllic grounds were perfect for relaxing and the (heated!) pool area was particularly lovely. St Helen had a great bakery for daily morning croissants and a local food market on Saturday. There were also plenty of nearby walking routes from the Gite, including a woodland trail. We hope to return to Le Pigeonnier and this particularly beautiful part of France again soon, thank you David and Laure!

Det skønneste sted!

Det skønneste sted med en meget autentisk fransk stil, og med de sødeste værter, som hele tiden står klar til at hjælpe. Vi vil helt klart anbefale stedet til andre, der søger ro og et autentisk fransk sted.
