Set on the outskirts of the popular town of Llangollen, this detached property is the original lodge to Llantysilio Hall and is set over two floors. The cosy living room boasts a remote controlled electric wood burner. There are gardens to the rear and side of the property, with the rear having a patio.



Llangollen town offers guests a wide range of bars, shops and restaurants, including takeaways which guests can enjoy. Nearby there are plenty of attractions for you to look around, including the Horseshoe Falls and Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which offers beautiful walks, barge trips and views. Within the town of Llangollen there is also the Llangollen railway station, a heritage railway for steam powered engines which you can board for journeys up the River Dee Valley. There are many local activities available including a mountain bike centre, white water rafting, canoeing, canal walks and barge trips, fishing, clay pigeon shooting and walking. Free transport is provided for guests arriving by train at either Chester or Wrexham stations. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 1 mile.

We had a fantastic stay at llantysilio lodge, We stayed over Christmas, the lodge was decorated for us, It was warm,lovely and cosy,We found everything we needed was provided, and the Hamper that was waiting for us on our arrival was a welcome treat ! Will definitely return.We feel all that was missing was a hot tub ! ....

Beautiful lodge, beautiful location, home from home, had absolutely everything we could need & more! Communication with the host was spot on too, friendly & prompt. Welcome hamper with some goodies & milk in the fridge for our arrival was a lovely touch & much appreciated. Ground floor beautifully tiled throughout, just remember to pack your slippers, chilly on the tootsies but really gorgeous. Close to lovely walks & good restaurants, shops etc too. We stayed for 4 nights in mid October, weather was horrendous but the lodge was lovely & cosy, we will definitely be back again!!

A fantastic property

A wonderful property with breath-taking views. A great place to get some serious writing done in perfect tranquillity, or just relax. The property was exactly as advertised and the contact for the property couldn't have been more helpful. The welcome hamper with coffee and sweet treats was also very much appreciated. I would highly recommend it.
