Under the Tuscan Sun

This historical and beautiful property was magical. We had a group of 6 adults (friends & family) ranging in ages 45 to 70. We had large beautiful bedrooms. We shared the bathrooms but did not find that to be a big problem. If you are not a close, familiar group, that might be a small issue. The property was only about an hour away from Florence. We rented 2 cars for flexibility. There was plenty of parking. There are other inhabitants living on the property but our space was private and they were truly a non-issue. Maria and her husband met us and showed us how everything worked. The views from the windows were like looking at a picture of your dreams! We spent several days down at our private pool located a short walk down the hill and in the middle of an olive grove. We took day trips to Pisa and Viareggio at the beach. It was easy to get food and get around the local sights. There's a beautiful winery tour nearby. The Villa experience exceeded our expectations! We all had a great chance to see Tuscany as well as relax and recharge. If you have a sense of adventure and don't want to stay in the same old American-style hotel - this vintage, authentic Italian Villa is incredibly fun! Perfect for a family or a group of close friends. This was the very best part of our entire vacation for me!

Wir waren für 14 Tage mit zwei Familien mit jeweils zwei Kindern im Alter zwischen 10 und 16 Jahren in dieser traumhaft schönen, alten Villa und waren rundum begeistert. Angefangen von der PDF mit der ausführlichen und sehr hilfreichen Wegbeschreibung, ohne die wir wahrscheinlich tatsächlich nicht bis zum Ende der Straße hochgefahren wären, über die Ruhe durch die Abgeschiedenheit, die super liebe Begrüßung durch Wein und Crostata, die tollen, großzügigen Räume mit riesig hohen Decken, die tolle Ausstattung - es hat an nichts gefehlt (außer vielleicht kleinen Gläsern für den Limoncello oder großen Kelchen für den Aperol, der aber auch aus Weingläsern schmeckt), die Klimaanlage in allen Schlafräumen und nicht zuletzt dem superschön angelegten, großen Pool mitten im Olivenhain. Die Kommunikation mit Maria lief reibungslos, wir bekamen nach einer Woche frische Wäsche und ganz viele Tipps aus erster Hand für Ausflüge. Auch die Essenstipps aus der Mappe waren alle sehr zutreffend. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die kleine Pasticceria direkt in Corrazano und die Trattoria im Dorf sollte man sich auch nicht entgehen lassen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, grazie mille a Maria!!
