Villa D’Louca offers a fantastic holiday opportunity for a family.
Beautiful quite location yet in easy reach of the town and all the wonderful bars, restaurants, shops Saturday Market the habour with a public boat service to the beach and much more.
The accommodation comprises of three bedrooms the master with an en suite, another two bedrooms with single beds which share a shower room and an additional toilet in the hall. The two settees in the living room also convert to large single or small double beds.
The house is air conditioned throughout, the kitchen has Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Hob & Oven, Microwave, Toaster and Fridge Freezer.

Beautiful scenic location and a very comfortable villa

We all had a lovely break 6 of us in total. Including two 15 year old twins. The villa is spacious and accommodated us all very comfortably. It provides breath taking views of the mountains and privacy which adds to it peacefulness and appeal.. The lovely town of Dalyan is nearby and can be walked to in about 15/20 mins or cabs can be called from the villa and are not expensive and arrive quickly. There are also 4 bikes at the villa. We would all thoroughly recommend this accommodation and holiday destination.

The Villa was as good as the photos showed just a bit off the beaten track the six of us had plenty of room. For us it was just a bit to far to walk into town when it was hot but local taxi's where good. If you want a peaceful holiday book this villa Just a couple of things a Tea Pot would be good, more mugs if you use the dishwasher, not sure if there was any confusion but the pool was not clean when we arrived but this was soon sorted All in all great place to just relax and we recommend the Kingfisher Restaurant if you like peace and quite and fresh food

Villa D’Louca - Splendid

Lovely villa supplying everything you could possibly need. The 4 bicycles were an added extra that the younger members took advantage of to go into town. If you want to leave your car behind, a taxi into Dalyan costs about £2.50 each way. I found I spent most of the daytime at the villa enjoying the pool and nature. Loads of fresh oranges on the trees so plenty of vitamin C every day. Every evening a little family of frogs joined us in the pool they didn’t seem to mind sharing. Would hope to return here one day.

Ideal get away to relax and recharge. Every thing was as described no surprises lurking in the shadows. The pool was spotless as were the gardens. We left the property for three days to be closer to the WRC up at Asparan near Marmaris whilst the racing was great we couldn’t wait to get back to our little bit of Heaven. We walked into town most evenings via two back road routes never more than 1/2 an hour each way. We also used the bikes to venture a bit further but all the time wanting to get back to the Villa. It is quite and secluded no one overlooking you it was bliss. We used lots of local restaurants with never a bad meal and always good value. Will definetly be tempted to go use again. Top marks foor the Villa Doluca.

Lovely private villa in ideal location

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay at this private villa. We were really pleased as the villa was in a quiet location. Another pleasing factor is that we not overlooked when enjoying our time in the good sized swimming pool and when having lunch on the terrace whilst enjoying the surrounding scenery, which was stunning. The villa met all our expectations with regard to cleanliness and the pool and gardens were regularly maintained during our stay. The manager of the villa introduced himself and we were happy that he was easily contactable if we had any problems during our stay, which we didn't. We hired a jeep during our time at the villa as we wanted the freedom to sightsee. We would personally advise hiring a car during your stay at the villa as the distance from the main centre where there are many restaurants and shops is too far to walk. However, there were bikes available at the villa to use. We would recommend this villa to our friends and family as it was the perfect hideaway in which to relax and enjoy the sunshine without any worries.

I’m pretty sure we all said “wow” when we arrived at the entrance to the villa, well, apart from my son, who just said “dad, look at the pool” the photos really don’t do it justice, the gardens are beautiful, the location is perfect, you are surrounded by nature, the driver showed us into the villa gave us a quick lowdown on the essentials and left us to it, got our priorities sorted, dumped the suitcases and straight in the pool! heaven, you just wind down straight away, and that is what this villa is all about, winding down. Everything you need is there and more, aircon, water cooler, bbq, WiFi, etc, etc, the 4 mountain bikes were great fun, it’s an easy area to explore as it’s by and large pretty flat, lots of restaurants to choose from, good local shops, Dalyan is really lovely, loads of good excursions to do, obviously boat trips galore, we hired a car through Kaunos tours, who also pick you up from the airport, Salih was really helpful, we did a boat trip with them to Köyceğiz market and the mudbaths/hot springs, it was a brilliant day out, I could go on, but I think you get the picture, if you want a totally relaxing holiday in a fantastic villa, then I can highly recommend Villa d’louca. Scenic and beautiful

We stayed at Villa D'Louca for two weeks and were joined in the second week by our daughters (20 and 23) The villa is set in beautiful well tended gardens, with a good sized pool and is surrounded on all sides by farmland and trees. Internally the villa is spacious, especially the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There is plenty of storage. It is a 25 minute walk into town and we are walkers! However it is a pleasant walk and the taxi back is very cheap. (20 Turkish Lira) There are 4 bikes at the villa which were very handy! Dalyan is the perfect mix of restaurants, bars and shops. The river is amazing and we took several trips to Turtle beach on the river taxi. Very chilled indeed! The bars and restaurants which go right to the river bank are beautiful. Kaunos Tours provide a first class service and dealt with all our requests with speed and efficiency. They were excellent for all our transfers also. We did two of their trips (12 islands boat trip and night safari) which were also excellent and good value for money. Pre holiday communication with them and the owner was also very good. We would recommend Villa D'Louca.

Beautiful villa in peaceful location

We stayed at Villa D'Louca for two weeks in September and had a wonderful stay. The communication with Nick prior to arrival was excellent with transfers organised efficiently and even a small food shop done for our arrival. The villa is just as shown in the photos, homely and very traditional. The kitchen is excellently equipped should you want to self cater and we enjoyed a barbeque one evening. The real selling point though is the outside space with a huge pool, lovely shaded dining area and chill out area and outside bar and fridge. There is now a new building to the left of the property at the end of the drive and looks to be a partially built property next door. Neither of which impact on the privacy or tranquility of the villa. We walked into Dalyan each evening, busy road for a few minutes and then left onto a nice quiet road through the fruit trees. Taxis back were cheap (150-160TL). There is an excellent selection of restaurants close by along the Riverside. We did suffer a few power cuts during our stay, more frequent in the second week with one lasting 12 hours. This is an issue with the area and not the villa and all issues were dealt with promptly. There is a gas ring so we were still able to cook and boil water. We loved our stay in Villa D'Louca and would definitely love to return.

Wonderful pool but put off by a few issues

The villa is a good size and the pool kept exceptionally clean, it’s the right temperature and big! The air con unit in the lounge doesn’t work but this doesn’t really matter. We had difficulty locating the key and finding the villa as we had hired a car at the airport and arrived in the dark. It’s apparently best to get picked up by Kaunos tours from the airport and then get your hire car delivered to the villa. I will now discuss the main issue we had with the villa and its surrounding area. People in the field directly next to the villa used a shotgun one evening and some shots peppered through the trees into the villa grounds. We called Kaunos Tours who said it was someone shooting big birds and said they would get the police. The police never arrived despite two calls to Kaunos Tours. The gunshots happened again the following evening so we stayed inside thereafter. Kaunos Tours never followed up our call. We just wanted some reassurance we were safe which we never got.

Fantastic private villa

This is now the third time we have stayed at this villa and, yet again, it was 1st class. The villa is situated about a mile from the town and is absolutely perfect for a quiet, relaxing fantastic holiday. It has everything you require to be completely self contained for the holiday, just buy your food! The pool is a very good size and is the best relief from the Turkish sunshine. It even has a great poolside bar with fridge so you don't have to go back into the villa to get that well needed ice cooled drink. There are four reasonably new bikes to explore the area and eat at some great local restaurants. There's a newly built restaurant at the end of the drive (about 400 yards) which is very reasonable & extremely convenient. The grounds are well maintained with orange trees, grapes & a banana tree. The rear view is mountains and the front is a Pomegranate field. There is only one other villa next door that can not be seen because of the trees. The front veranda looks over the pool and you can have your evening meal watching the sunset over the Pomegranate fields and mountains in the distance. The main bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom, sofa and TV. The other two bedrooms have two single beds in each and share the family shower & toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would require. You can catch the local bus, at the end of the drive, that will take you directly to the turtle beech or travel into Dalyan and take the communal boat. We have nothing but praise for this villa for it's facilities, location and overall standard. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this Villa to anyone for a great holiday in Turkey.

Had a wonderful stay at this villa., although out of town it is a easy 20 min walk into the town which we done every evening, loved the peacefulness and the fact that you are not overlooked. Pool was cleaned every day. Nothing negative to say , thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this villa.

Fantastic Villa with a wonderful deep swimming pool. Lovely plot slightly away from town with spacious 3 bedroom accommodation and 2 outdoor covered areas and separate pool bar. Definitely recommended for a teenage family. The bikes were a brilliant way to ride into the town about 10 mins away. Walking into town on a regular basis too far for us but Taxis and Buses very reliable. Only gripe worth mentioning is don't rely on the TV if you are planning to watch anything specific e.g. The Olympics

Wonderful secluded villa

This is a wonderfully quiet and secluded villa in the countryside just near Dalyan with a great swimming pool. The villa is bigger than it appears in the picture as it extends back a long way from the front where the pool is located. It's very well equipped and the large verandah round two sides of the villa makes a great area for eating or just relaxing. Having the bikes available is a real added bonus. The only suggestion we'd make is to clarify the driving directions to the villa, especially for those who, like us, arrive after dark.

Exceptional Villa

Fantastic villa, clean and well equipped. Beautiful location, very quiet. Quite a distance to walk into Dalyan, with no pavements on the main road. Taxis were mainly used at a cost of 15 - 20 TRL per trip. It was our second trip to Dalyan and we enjoyed it just as much as our first visit. Excellent restaurants and once again we took some trips with Ali "Sultan of Dalyan" on his boat - well worth the money with an excellent lunch provided. Nick Hicklin, the owner, was very helpful in allowing us to arrive early at the villa as our airport arrival was at 3.05 am. Kaunos Tours were used for airport transfers which I can highly recommend. An excellent holiday all round!

Perfect

Have just got back from a two week stay at the above villa. We had a hire car for the duration of our trip as we like to get out and about. The villa is in a quiet location just outside of Daylan town. We used the bikes and found a couple of routes into town. The villa is well equipped and the large pool is so warm. The water cooler is a great bonus and when replacement bottles are ordered arrive very quick 5TL for each 19L bottle - bargain. Kaunos who manage the villa are so helpful and efficient - if something needs sorting they will do it straight away (very impressed). The only bad thing I could possible say: we were so sad to leave this beautiful villa. Thanks Nick for an amazing holiday.

Beautiful place to stay.

Would highly recommend this villa. It's a real home from home. We returned recently after a 10 night stay with our young daughter (nearly 3years) and it was perfect. Villa itself is lovely and clean, great facilities, garden and pool great too. All well maintained. We liked the location, mountains behind us, nice and quiet and set in lovely scenery. We hired a car, which was handy for us with toddler getting into a Dalyan. Bikes available at the villa. Booking was easy and communication great - owner very helpful with all of my questions. We used Kaunos (who manage the villa) for airport transfers (only 25 mins from Dalaman) and car hire -which worked out well. Car was at villa for us and transfer handy because villa would have been difficult to find at night. Dalyan itself was nice - we used the river boats to get to places. Good restaurants too (trip advisor useful for ranking) with Saki being our favourite for authentic food. Would recommend villa and Dalyan and hope to come again - we had a wonderful holiday.

Our hoilday

We spent a most enjoyable 2 weeks at this lovely villa the weather was very good hot during the day turned a bit cooler in the evenings. There is everything that you could wish for at this villa and Dalyan is such a lovely area there is so much to do and see.We found taxis very cheap to go in the town and from there you can get to so many different places. We are hoping to return again next year.

We fell in love with Turkey back in 2002 and became especially attracted to Dalyan. After holidaying in Dalyan for several years we decided to take the plunge and invest in a holiday home for the family. The search took almost two weeks having been shown numerous properties of all types, the minute we approached the villa we both looked at each other, nothing said, we knew we had discovered our little peace of paradise.
We have been extremely lucky to afford such a property as well as making some true Turkish freinds for life.

Very simply, quite, stunning location, lovely pool and gardens, outdoor equipped bar. Gas and charcoal BBQs. Quality towels and bedding laundered weekly by our management team. Fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils to cook yourselves a Turkish feast.
