Best apartment in Annecy!
The owner Pierre was always prompt, friendly and accommodating in all our communications with him in regard to the apartment. We were delayed at the Geneva airport and were unable to arrive in Annecy at the specified time to meet Pierre. When we contacted him to inform him of the delay, he was really good about it and waited patiently for us. He was friendly and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment carefully and thoroughly. The apartment was even better in real life than it was in the photos. It was modern, well maintained and impeccably clean. Everything in the apartment worked well and the kitchen was well resourced. It was also stocked with some of the necessary things we needed, such as detergents. The location of the apartment in the heart of the old city made us re-live life in the old city of Annecy. There was even a special back entrance from the apartment that led through interesting alley ways to the old Chateau. It was easy to get to the old city as well as the beautiful lake. There were so many great places to eat within walking distance of the apartment, including Le Freti. The fabulous market that is held thrice weekly was just below on street, where we were able to get all the fresh produce we needed to create amazing food in the apartment's kitchen. Even though the apartment is located in the centre of it all, we were able to shut out the colour and sounds of the world below whenever we needed, as the apartment was sound proofed. We would highly recommend Pierre's wonderful apartment without hesitation to anyone.
