About this property
Cae Tudur Remote Rural Cottage near Barmouth
Fully refurbished in 2022, the cottage has been a labour of love for the owners, evident from the tasteful homely touches that they have added. It features original oak beams and a large inglenook fireplace, a wood-burning stove, a brand-new fitted kitchen and a dining area. Double glazing and fixed ECO electric heaters. The two lovely bedrooms, sleep 4 guests and have picturesque views, within Snowdonia National Park having immediate access to the Rhinog mountains. Good Wi-Fi via fibre Broadband.
The woodland garden and terrace are ideal for fresco dining. With no light pollution, this is a great place for stargazing. There is lots to experience here whether it's walking in the woods or the hills, swimming or kayaking in the nearby freshwater lakes, or taking a trip to surf on the Cambrian Coasts' sandy beaches nearby. Beautiful views towards the mountain range of Cadair Idris, and down to the Mawddach estuary. The old drover's road passes close by, the Sword Stones, and a healing well are all within a short walk as is a secret forest pool. Barmouth is within a 10-minute drive, or a walk over the hills.
