Ivy is part of the old farm house and again is ideal for families.

The Chestnuts Lincolnshire holiday cottages are located on a characteristic and authentic farm offering high quality self-catering holiday accommodation, with private fishing lakes.

The Chestnuts nestled within idyllic countryside provide the ideal base from which to explore the hustle and bustle of the East Coast and unspoilt Lincolnshire Wolds.

However, many of our guests choose to spend their days by our fishing lakes or just relaxing on the farm, where the children have ample space to play and are always welcome to feed the animals; pigs, chickens, donkeys, rabbits and ducks etc. A short walk to the village of Burgh le Marsh presents a wealth of amenities such as good pubs, restaurants and shops.

At The Chestnuts holiday cottages you can expect a warm welcome and a holiday with a difference on a real Lincolnshire farm.

Fantastic holiday property

Superb setting in a lovely village just six miles from Skegness and Ingoldmells. Plenty to do in the place and surrounding areas and great for young kids with the outdoor playground and indoor area plus farm animals and fishing. Preperty is furnished to a good standard and everything set up for a relaxing week.

Great communal space, with separate sleeping places. Even though our homes are rural, still loved the animals. Play space in garden and play area were ideal for the grandkids. Belles visits were a bonus as we’d left our dogs at home!

Cosy, friendly, comforting, relaxed happy and uplifted to always feel the pull to keep returning

Been coming to The Chestnuts for over 20 years, started off in Ivy and Rose as one dwelling for the family, but this year we have added 4 cottages with a total of 30 people a mix of adults and children, all wanting to come, so that we have the space to do our own thing but more importantly it allows us all to congregate in Ivy and Rose to have fun and laughter, play games and celebrate this year a 65th birthday, it’s been wonderful again, thank you to Claire and team.

Lovely relaxing break in a perfect location.

This is our 4th year returning and we love being here. The location is perfect. There was no one around at check out on 1/1/24- understandable but it was noted that a couple of the dining chairs in Ivy were unsafe with wobbly legs and the downstairs bedroom light didn’t work. This didn’t affect our stay as the kids were ‘too cool’ to eat with us anyway but maybe it’s something you would like to address for future guests? Thanks for a great stay. X
