Double room stylishly furnished with a king size comfy bed, ensuite bathroom with bath/shower combination and tea and coffee making facilities. Pet friendly (small additional charge).
Situated on the outskirts of Chedington village, our charming country pub is situated high in the chalk fields of West Dorset, and commands one of the finest views in the West Country. Surrounded by National Trust Land, the area is an unspoilt rural delight.

It’s the perfect place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with 6 modern and comfortable ensuite bedrooms which are set
back from the main pub building.

Conveniently located just off a main the road that links Crewkerne and Dorchester, the Inn is the ideal location for exploring the whole of the West Dorset area, from the picturesque coastal town of Lyme Regis to the famous Jurassic Coast line to Weymouth.

What a find, a brilliant place to eat, drink and sleep.

Friendly staff. Beautiful room with special welcoming touches - fresh milk, welcoming lights left on, cool, clean, quality bed linen and towels and a dog bed, blanket and biscuits ready and waiting for our dog.

Just lovely

You know those places that make you feel genuinely welcome the moment you set foot inside? Winyard's Gap is one of those. If you're taking one of the lovely rooms for the night - in our case with our dog - it's also the sort of place which gets all the little personal touches spot-on. The food is amazing, the setting is stunning and we can't wait to go back, hopefully for longer next time.

Lovely Stay

Stayed for one night as Birthday treat for my husband. Room was well presented, modern and clean. The pub was lovely a cosy with a good selection of ciders and wines just what I had been looking for. Staff all very welcoming and food all lovely especially the breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay, however my brother and his wife had a problem with their room, they couldn't turn off the underfloor heating and neither could a staff member.
