- The double bedroom is compact, with a standard double bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, large mirror, bedside cabinet with bedside lights, panel heater. Please note there is little space to walk around the double bed.
- The twin room has 1 standard single bed and 1 slightly narrower single bed. There is a build in wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a light at each bedside. Mirror, spare blanket and storage for a suitcase under the narrower bed.
Each chalet has a hairdryer and hot water bottle and black out linings on the curtains.
- The toilet has a white suite, pan, sink, bathroom cabinet with mirror and a power shower corner unit (760 x 760 mm) In the cabinet there is facecloths, mini bars of soap and spare toilet rolls. In the shower, shower gel is provided. There is also a second larger mirror, bath mat, heated towel rail, spray air freshener and small bin provided.
- Lounge/dining room. Compact but fully furnished with solid wood dining table/4 chairs, freeview tv (built in dvd) on a shelf, coffee table, mirror, standing lamp and a 3 seater sofa with an extra chair.
- Kitchenette, compact with microwave, full sized cooker, fridge and all crockery and cooking equipment for 4 people, as required to meet 3 stars with Visit Scotland.
- Each chalet will have - cleaning equipment, dish towel, fairy liquid, tin foil, cling film, kitchen roll, soaps, towels and a hairdryer.
Each chalet has 2 bedrooms, 1 twin and 1 double, so sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
The chalets are in a quiet location, each one private, with an onsite laundry room. The chalets are small but fully equipped to have a comfortable stay, ideal for a family holiday or business trip also, with wifi facilities. Graded 3 stars with visit Scotland, they prove popular with regular repeat business.
Next to the chalets is my 1 acre garden, open to the public for charity and also my art studio. Free to chalet visitors.
As we have 9 identical chalets on one site, they are ideal for groups also, and are popular for a whole family to share. It is advisable to have a car to explore Shetland, if not then there is a bus stop nearby.
