This new 1500 square foot home just six blocks from downtown and has two bedrooms, two baths, and a two car garage. It sleeps 6 to 8 people. The house is located in the heart of Durango's quaint downtown neighborhood. Situated in walking distance to restaurants, bike paths, and trails. Enjoy your vacation in the beauty of this modern fully furnished home.

It is a relaxing place to stay. Fully stocked modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Also has an antique bar which seats two. The deck with BBQ grill and seating is located just off the kitchen for relaxing outdoors. It also has a lovely private fenced back yard for play and hanging out. The two bedrooms have Queen and King beds equipped with fine linens and luxurious down comforters. Bathrooms are spacious and are designed with subway tile in the shower and bathtub. The rustic vanities are topped with gray marble counter tops. Each bath is accessorized with quality towels, soaps, and hair dryer.

Living room has a Queen sized futon, two leather swivel chairs, flat screen TV, and a DVD player. Also there is a library complete with games. Wifi access is provided. The cozy dining area seats 6 and can be used for meals when you want to stay in. This home is sure to suit your Durango vacation needs.

July in Durango

We liked the house very much and the fact that it was very new and had outside areas like a deck, a front porch and a patio downstairs. It was particularly nice because of the close proximity to the Durango mainstreet. We could walk to the restaurants, grocery stores and the farmers market, we would like to rent it again.

Quiet personal space, yet so close to hubs of activity

This was a great place to call home for our month of July. The upper deck hosted many a meals and the lower patio gave us a private place to lounge outdoors in the shade. The ambiance of the whole house was wonderful. A 2 car garage topped it off. The kitchen space had everything we needed, the bedrooms and furnishings we're very cozy-comfy. The owners were very accessible and great to work with. We'd return in a heartbeat.

I could not imagine a more perfect house to stay in ! The house is lovely, with high end finishes, amazing bedding, a fully-equipped kitchen, and it was beyond clean! My husband and I , with our two elderly golden retrievers, were able to easily walk to town , the library, the water park, and the fantastic dog park! In the evenings, we would wander through the neighborhood and look at all the interesting homes and front gardens. I always felt safe in this area and the people are so friendly! A highlight of our stay were the deer who visited the yard behind the house. Our goldens were fascinated and loved watching them from the deck. We appreciated all the extra touches such as paper towels, bedding, laundry detergent, spices, trash bags. Everything we could possible need was provided. Also, the television worked flawlessly as did the internet service. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Awesome experience

My partner and I booked Joe’s placefor the month of August. Our first month-long vacay/work-remote experience and it was great… definately will do more of this. The house was very comfortable. The beds were cozy, the place was extremely clean, well stocked with things like paper towels, TP, sandwich bags, spices etc. AC was also a plus in the warmer days/nights. They also did a nice job with the linen selection. We thought we’d cook at home more so we stocked up on stuff from the grocery but the restaraunts nearby were so amazing we found ourselves waking to breakfast and dinner most of the time. The location was perfect for this. Our favorite walkable places: Home Slice Pizza, Lola’s and the food trucks, Station 11, Cream Bean Berry ice cream… and the Hymaliian place on Main Street. The neighborhood was quiet, quaint and very walkable. We walked almost every morning and night and Almost always ran into a couple of deer. Neighbors were friendly…but I’d say that about the people in Durango as a whole. great little town We did a ton of Hiking, Jeeping, kayaking and cycling. Hiking trails outside of Silverton are amazing. Alpine lakes and water falls…. But Nature will make you work for it. Great central location for all sorts for exploring. We got engaged at Island lake and plan on coming back to Durango next August to seal the deal. We’d book this place again, but we need more beds and space for more family. Highly recommend.

Comfortable stay in the heart of town!

Our family stayed in this new property while we had work done on our home. The owner built it himself and paid attentionto every detail, it is super comfortable with attached garage, 2 nice bedrooms and updated baths, a fenced yard and 2nd story trex deck off the kitchen. Central AC. There was even a baby gate, high chair, and pack n play available for our toddler. It's in a quiet neighborhood that is an easy walk to a park as well as all the shops and restaurants downtown. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Charming House

Perfect location only four blocks from downtown Durango. Nice, shady tree-lined neighborhood great for strolls. Close to a beautiful bike path along the river. Easy car access to world class hiking. Can’t imagine a more pleasant stay (and we have traveled the world.)

SUPERIOR, Pet Friendly Home!

Everything about this home makes for a truly wonderful vacation experience. The location to downtown and restaurants, the peaceful neighborhood and the comforts of home are just the beginning. If you are lucky enough to have 30 days to enjoy Durango, you will not be disappointed renting this home. The wonderful owners are local too and were VERY accommodating when we had to leave two weeks early because of the World pandemic crisis. Because of this, my return trip is already scheduled for next year and I can’t wait!!!

Light and Airy, Walk to Downtown

This apartment was perfect for our group: my husband and I, our adult daughter, and our dog. Needing a pet-friendly rental limited our options, but we hit the jackpot with this place. It is new, clean, lots of windows for fresh air and natural light, nice LG appliances, including a gas stove and perhaps the largest capacity washer I have ever seen in a home. A short 10 minute walk to downtown, 5 minute drive to grocery store, lovely neighborhood with sidewalks for walking our dog. We had a couple minor issues, but Joe, the owner, responded immediately and resolved them. Glad to have air conditioning, as temps rose into the 80's during our stay.

We thorougly enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect for a great in-town experience. Joe, the property owner, was very prompt and responsive to our needs and made us feel very at ease and comfortable. The property is in excellent condition. Due to the wonderful location, we were able to take many enjoyable walks in and around town even in the winter (we had a lot of snow!). It was very nice not having to worry about parking (our car was snug in the garage). Bikes provided are a great addition esp. for spring, summer, and fall. Durango is an awesome destination...so many activities year round and many more in the surrounding area. Thanks Joe for a great stay!

Kitchen well equipped with super appliances and all the little things we needed for a 30 day stay; house was super clean; 2 car garage (with 2 bikes) was an added bonus; house located in a charming neighborhood which provided many enjoyable walks (downtown 5 blocks away); never used AC as evenings delightfully cool and afternoons warm; owner very accessible and solicitous of any concern we might have had.
