Treetops is a beautiful large, quiet and very bright one bed duplex apartment on the first floor of City Haven Preston. Perfect for short as well as longer stays for business travellers, students, couples, families who are looking for a home away from home as it has everything you need for a fabulous stay in really comfortable surroundings.
The city centre, train station and university UCLAN are only 5-10 minutes walk away and there is free street parking on the very quiet cul de sac in front of the building on a first come first served basis.
The entrance to the flat, bathroom and lounge/kitchen/dinning area are all on the first floor. The large breakfast bar is a great spot to sit and eat or work from looking over the quiet cobbled street below and treetops opposite. You can cook up quick or more elaborate meals in our fully kitted kitchen complete with cooker, oven and microwave. There is a washer-dryer with laundry detergent for your use and daily laundry needs. Also plenty of storage for you to fully unpack and put away coats and shoes.
The sitting area is really cosy with a large corner sofa to stretch out on and unwind. There is free fast WiFi and a 43 inch smart TV for you to enjoy movies and catch up programs.
The large bedroom is up a flight of stairs within the apartment into a peaceful and tranquil space with Velux windows to allow star gazing and has far reaching views of the city and roof tops. Our upholstered double bed with pocket sprung mattress is super comfortable. There is more storage area under the eaves to store your suitcases.

We operate a Strict No Smoking Policy anywhere inside the apartment, gardens or front entrance steps of the building including Vapes and E-cigarettes.
No candles inside the apartment.
No parties or events
You must not trade or run a business from this apartment
Unregistered guests are not allowed into the building nor are they permitted to stay overnight without our prior knowledge.
City Haven has 4 beautifully stylish and comfortable one and two bedroom apartments set in a converted Victorian town house with high ceilings and large windows in Preston's central Fishergate Hill Conservation area. A little gem of a place centrally located yet tucked quietly away from the hustle bustle of the city centre with all it’s amenities, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants only a stone’s throw away. A home away from home experience for guests wanting more than just a hotel room with private laundry and cooking facilities.
Our modern apartments are bright and airy and have been carefully thought out to make your stay as comfortable and feel as much like home as possible. Kitchens come fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a quick or more elaborate meal. We provide complimentary tea and coffee as part of our welcome pack, premium organic toiletries and there is a washer dryer (including detergent) for your laundry needs. All our beds have luxury pocket sprung mattresses for a really good night’s sleep and our guests also enjoy free high speed WiFi to stream and watch movies and catch up programs on our smart TVs.
For longer stays of two weeks or more we provide complimentary weekly housekeeping with fresh bedding and towels and the services of a dedicated guest manager.
There is free street parking directly outside the property on a first come first served basis if you are travelling by car. We are situated in a small cul-de-sac and parking is shared with local residents and therefore may get busy in the evenings so we advise to arrive before 3.30pm. There is also parking on West Cliff Street but please check the signs to ensure you do not park on resident permit bays or during restricted hours.
Preston Railway Station is just an easy 5 minutes walk on the flat along Fishergate Hill. The university, UCLAN, is 10 minutes by foot.
