The estate takes its name from one of its first owners, Sire Gaston de l'Isle, Gascon knight. But the old castle of the 12th century is no more than a memory belonging to history, the place is now occupied by an elegant residence built in 1763. You will be welcomed by Xavier and Vanessa, young couple of engineers in aeronautics , and by Vanessa's mom, Chantal. Here, we love horses, so riders looking for a charming shelter with their horses will be welcome, especially since between the Landes forest and sandy paths they will find paradise (for children, there is Bounty Longmead, the shetland pony) ! But the riders will not be the only ones to find their Eden, because the heated swimming pool with generous dimensions, the landscaped garden and the wooded park of 6 hectares will be the joy of all ! The rooms, classic and inviting to taste the delicacy, combine space and high-end services. Bedding and towels of major brands ensure perfect comfort, as are the bathrooms, very contemporary. A small lounge with library, board games, television, DVD, Nespresso coffee and herbal teas completes the whole. In the morning, we start around a gourmet organic breakfast before embarking on a busy day between visiting the Médoc wineries, walking or cycling, swimming in the ocean, swings in the golf courses around ...

We felt like home - even better, we did not have to take care of anything, the service was perfect

You can reach without problems the west coast, the east coast and the north of Medoc, Very nicely furnished rooms, very attentive personal service, calm environment, nice pool area, delicious breakfast, good parking facilities, over all : a perfect stay.

Mariage du 27/09/2025 parfaitement réussi dans ce lieu charmant, raffiné et élégant.

Nous avons été séduits d’entrée par le cadre extérieur. La bâtisse est à la fois sobre et élégante dans un écrin de verdure bien agencé. Les chambres sont spacieuses, meublées et personnalisées avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit-déjeuner copieux et de grande qualité est assuré par la maman de Vanessa, dont nous avons apprécié la bienveillance, notamment en ce qui concerne la présence de notre petit- L’orangerie en pierre apparente a été un lieu exceptionnel pour notre mariage de 50 personnes.

Mariage inoubliable prés des chevaux dans le cadre du magnifique domaine de l'Isle

Domaine et abords très bien entretenus, très belle salle de mariage et belles chambres d'hôtes; manque d'éclairages dans l'orangeraie, les extérieurs, le chemin d'accès jusqu'au parking afin que l'on puisse s'orienter la nuit.

lo Chateau de l'isle è un piccolo gioiello. Tutto è curato in ogni suo dettaglio. Le stanze sono comode e spaziose, la piscina riscaldata e il giardino immenso e pieno di piante. la colazione ricca ed internazionale (sia docle che salato) Ci è sembrato di vivere una favola

Séjour dans ce chateau très dépaysant au calme tres agréable !

Les hôtes (Chantal et Vanessa) sont aux petits soins, très agréable de parler avec elles. Le chateau est proche finalement de petits commerces et de la route des chateaux. Chambre tres propre qui sent bon, pas bruyant. Lits confortables. La piscine est au top et ajoute vraiment une valeur ajoutée.
