Great getaway

We had a great short vacation visiting Pigeon Forge and staying at Best of Both Worlds! The house was just as listed! We had two minor issues when we arrived and they fixed them the next day while we visited Dollywood. The location was great, we actually saw a bear crossing the road a few houses down! We will definitely check into staying again!

Spacious Group Cabin

The size and layout of the cabin was great for our group of adults and teens. The 4 bedrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out. We also appreciated the ample bathrooms. Our only slight concern was the steep driveway. We had a van and did not have any issues, but a car with a longer front might scrap coming in and out of the drive.

WiFi issues

The cabin is fine. Good space and bedding. Start with the negatives in any of the positives. First the heat and cooling system don’t work uniform . If the main room is comfortable of the back bedrooms are broiling. hot. Really no way to regulate. Also the kitchen could be a little bit or stocked with a little nicer stuff, for example the skillets are old and peeling. Lastly and our biggest complaint was the Wi-Fi. We had to call guest services line twice and the second time we called on the second day the lady had an attitude. The cabin advertises a theater room but please be aware that the theater room has a smart TV that they will not allow you To hook up to the Internet. Even though we wanted to use our own credentials to view something like Netflix or Amazon prime, etc. she laughed at me and continued to tell me that that’s just not a service they provide. Even though the Wi-Fi was poor it was eventually working throughout the rest of the cabin but you’re not allowed to use it on the smart TV even though they would incur no additional cost. So for a cabin that advertises a theater room, the only Movies you can watch are ones you brought yourself rented on a DVD player. We did attempt to go to the local Redbox to try to salvage the theater room experience however the closest Redbox was broken. This was a bummer for the kids because we had planned to let them watch some movies and brought some snacks and set up the TV room and I’m sorry, but I think in today’s day and age it is completely reasonable to expect a smart TV to be able to hook to Wi-Fi. Plus I’ll tell you I didn’t appreciate the attitude of the guest service person that called the second day. I think it was the same person that we spoke to on the first day when the Wi-Fi for the entire cabin didn’t work and she had to walk us through resetting the wireless router. Positives 1. The movie room if it had worked, the air hockey table in the arcade game we’re great. The fireplace was nice to have in the living room. The bedrooms were comfortable and each one had a nice bathroom. That I was nice and the cabin was easy to get The fireplace was nice to have in the living room. The bedrooms were comfortable and each one had a nice bathroom. That was nice and the cabin was easy to get to And the people at Chek Inn were friendly. We had a fantastic weekend.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a great cousins reunion. The property was as represented on the website with the exception of parking. Drive was extremely steep but we were able to work with it. The cabin is comfortable and met our needs well. Would rent again.

It was not that great experience as seen in the photos

Hi The online photos of cabin were great but actual cabin was not looking like photos. In Photos, it looks like lot of space in the hall / living room. Also couple of things did not work. Needs replacement. Fireplace did not work. Maintenance person came and fixed. Next day again, it did not work. Oven is not working as expected. Needs to replaced this very old one. Thank you Mallikarjuna Mula
