On Tuesday 25th July evening, received a phone call from the apartment people. However I missed their call, I called them back twice and the phone just rang off.
Wednesday, the 26th of July I called the number again and the phone still rang off. We waited for a call but it never came. We could not checked in till after 3pm. We arrived at the apartment addressed and called the number again, but the phone rang off again. We are very fortunate as a couple that lived in the apartments came to our aid; the man rang the number for us on his phone he told us that it was ringing but no one answered. Within 5 minutes the man came back to us with someone on the phone, he spoke to the person on the other end of the line in Portuguese. Once he hung the phone up he told us that someone will be with us in 15 minutes and this was at approximately 5:40 pm.
We waited for 45 minutes and then as no one turned up we went to dinner as we had made a reservation, during our meal we received a phone call saying we can check in now, I told them can they please call in morning as we were in restaurant and had made arrangements to stay somewhere that night.
Thursday, the 27th of July waited all day and evening for a phone call, no one called us to check in the apartment, we then had to make arrangements to stay somewhere else for the rest of our holiday; being pensioners this was a very stressful experience and wil
