If you are planning on seeing the sights of Central London, being south of the river Thames you are perfectly placed to visit the Southbank area and all it has to offer; London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Portrait Gallery, National Gallery, Covent Garden and theatres are only 8 miles and 22 mins train journey. The nearest railway station is Catford Bridge and Catford Main line stations with also Hither Green station a third option all aproximatley 8 minutes walk or 3 mins by bus), trains go to Central London Mainline stations, London Bridge, Charing Cross, Blackfriars, Victoria and Waterloo. Two minutes walk in the next road is a general food mart store and small Co-op supermarket for any food shopping you may require, along with coffee shops, takeaway restaurants and hair and beauty salon.
