A charming Grade II listed townhouse located in the heart of the Old Town a minute flat walk to the sea. Free parking. Dog friendly (£10 per night dog fee) Charming cottage with log burner, fully equipped kitchen and small dining snug (seats 4/5 guests) and 4 tastefully furnished bedrooms which sleep a maximum of 8 guests (6 adults and 2 children under 10 yrs) with super king, king, twin and bunk bed rooms and an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom. Family bathroom with roll top bath. Small outside terrace. Please note the house has 2 x sets of steep stairs with hand rails and will be unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. The house is located in the very heart of the beautiful, unspoilt seaside town of Lyme Regis, on the stunning Dorset coast. Coombe Street is one of the historic thoroughfares in the old town of Lyme Regis that bounds an artisan triangle of bakeries, galleries, arts&crafts and bespoke haute couture. As well as a sandy beach and seafront promenade, the town includes celebrity chef Mark Hix’s superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, River Cottage nearby along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. Lyme Regis is a wonderful location for those looking for a traditional seaside break, there are a wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum and a small theatre. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliffe between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. For those planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town. Exeter airport is 1/2 hr drive away and London a couple of hours drive.
