Awesome Stay!
Had the most amazing Christmas Stay at Cranmore Cottage. Beautiful property in the most amazing area. Great touches from the host with Christmas decorations, snacks and groceries and firewood for the fireplaces. The cottage has three big rooms with a great garden. Would highly recommend a visit for anyone wanting to get out of the city and escape to beautiful, rural England.

I am a teacher, mother of 3, with a deep seated love for Cumbria and the North Pennines. Having lived & worked in Cumbria in my early 20s, I always promised I would come back.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this property because of the magical location, the beautiful views and the peacefulness and chance to immerse myself into nature!

What makes this property unique

I love this cottage, I love the fact you can have a go at living off the grid with our wood burning Aga-Rayburn stove, but switch to modern appliances anytime you want. I love the fact you can curl up in front of our open fire or log burner and watch the wildlife play in the back garden. I love the fact that this cottage is 400 years old yet equipped with modern comforts like Google Home Speakers, infrared heaters and Xbox. Most of all, I love the comfort of this home away from home, and I hope my guests fall in love with it too.
