Lovely villa, very spacious. Great outdoor area and pool. Really close to the town centre yet very quiet all day and night. The owners were fantastic and very responsive with information when required. We travelled with our new granddaughter and her mum and dad, they had a great time and it was easy to get around. We hired a car but its not essential as the supermarket is just a 15 minute stroll. Bars and cafes similar.

We've just returned from a week in this beautiful villa in la cala and would thoroughly recommend it. It is spacious, well equipped and in a fantastic location which is quiet and tranquil and only 5 minutes walk to the beach! The garden and pool made our stay a very memorable one with breakfasts, lunch and bbq on the patio! We hope to return again next year. The hosts were also very communicative and the villa info, recommendations of the area and facilities etc was excellent! Thankyou so much again!

This is a beautiful villa with everything you could wish for. The hosts have thought of everything to make this a great experience and there is a stunning view of the sea from the terrace area. Wonderful place, very convenient for a family and it has everything you need from kitchen set and washing machine to games and audiovisual entertainment. Communication was very efficient and quick with the landlords and they always responded with a solution. Only thing to keep in mind is that it may be better to have a car if you want to explore the large surroundings - though they seem to be bus stops nearby too. We definitely look forward to repeating the experience!

Overall Lovely stay, we were looking for a house close to restaurants and town and it was excellent. Though the house was a little bit worn out, and missed lot’s of things for example a dryer and extra towels and I am not fond of plastic glass but the Loraine the host was very nice and send out new towels but overall a nice stay and fantastic host.

We have just come back from a lovely holiday . The villa was perfect . The pool table and darts kept the boys occupied . We all loved the pool including the baby , we even managed to set up a volley ball game in the pool. It was in walking distance to restaurants and supermarket , even though a few hills but manageable . It had everything we needed . Would definitely recommend

Home from home

We stayed in this beautiful villa as a family group who wanted a very laid back relaxing holiday. The villa fitted the bill perfectly and provided everything we could ever need. We enjoyed the outdoor area so much that we were happy to spend most of our time there. When we did decide to go into town, this was a short wander away. The communication with the owners and local agent was excellent and they were happy to accommodate us to fit in with our flight times.Would love to come back sometime.

Great property for a relaxing holiday

We were a family with a small baby so the villa was a perfect base. Really enjoyed and the facilities were great. Contained all we needed and not far into town for a stroll. The pool and outside area were very spacious and comfortable and indoors had all that we would need for a home from home type holiday for the baby. Lovely and cool with the AC as well.

Cass Del Drapes Holiday

My family and I had a terrific holiday at Casa Del Drapes. The villa has everything required for a family holiday and the hosts John and Lorraine were so helpful during the whole process and even ordered a bed guard for my three year old grandson. Amazing 1 week break

Amazing villa in a perfect location. We enjoyed a 1 week stay with family which included a 18 month old baby. The owners were in constant contact and responded to any queries we had almost immediately. The villa itself was spotlessly clean on arrival and was perfect for our family for a quiet get away.

Fantastic Villa in a perfect location

This villa exceeded our expectations in every way, it is located in a quiet beautiful residential location and only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach depending on the route taken. Everywhere is close to hand bars restaurants etc. The communication with the owners was superb nothing was too much trouble, and the neighbours are really nice people

Unlike some of the more high-rise, commercialized stretches of the Costa del Sol, La Cala has managed to keep its traditional Andalusian spirit.

It still feels like a seaside village where you can walk everywhere.

The historic watchtower gives the town a sense of history and a beautiful focal point for the beachfront.

The beaches are clean and safe with plenty of beach bars and facilities for guests to use.

One of the biggest draws is the food scene. It’s surprisingly sophisticated for a town of its size.

You have everything from authentic beachfront chiringuitos serving grilled sardines to high-end contemporary dining and international cuisine.

There is a stunning wooden boardwalk with amazing views that stretches for kilometers along the coast all the way to Cabopino.

We are perfectly positioned halfway between the glamour of Marbella and the vibrant energy of Malaga, making day trips effortless.

For those who like to stay active, the area is surrounded by some of the best golf courses in Europe (like La Cala Golf and El Chaparral), plus plenty of opportunities for water sports and hiking in the nearby Mijas mountains.

What makes this property unique


Our villa has traditional Spanish architecture with white-washed walls, terracotta tiles, and shaded archways that keep the house naturally cool. The villa has an extra large fully fitted kitchen and utility room and boasts a spacious comfortable lounge with full TV package.

We offer a "Car-Free Lifestyle." Guests can enjoy a peaceful morning coffee by the pool without traffic noise, yet stroll to the beach or a tapas bar in minutes. It removes the stress of navigating parking or choosing a designated driver.

While many properties have a communal pool, the combination of a private pool with a sea view is a real treat, alongside large wraparound gardens with seating areas and sunbeds to chill out in.

The pool table, dart board and putting mat move the property from "a place to sleep" to "a place to play". It’s a lifesaver for families with teenagers or groups of friends during the evening. It provides a social hub that doesn't require spending extra money out on the town. There is also an outside TV perfect for family nights and BBQs under the terrace.
