We are a Norwegian couple who adore Andalucia, the people, culture, food, the rhythm of life, the cities & pueblos, the countless landscapes, and not least flamenco, (Velez has had a flamenco revival and offer a lot of exciting flamenco). Being foreigners we find it especially important to behave with total respect, and we are now completely integrated, and have practically only Spanish friends.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love, totally, and thought the huse was like a very, very tired old 'queen' but it had 'great bones' though. After some years of redoing the house it is like it has come back to itself, something like that.
What makes this property unique
Casa Lella strangely combines the cosy with the grand, perfect for 3-4 generations family visits. We find it fantastic to have this huge space – a world of it is own – and then you only have to step out on the street and you have the town and all it offers just around the corner. It is rare with a townhouse - and a pool! There is ample space to be many and loads of places to hide away by yourself for a siesta or to read a book.
