You’re sure to find hidden coastal gems along the Yorkshire Coast, from picturesque Runswick Bay to Staithes, each with its own story of piracy and smugglers. The famous Cleveland Way snakes along the coastline, and the Cinder Track drops down into Robin Hood’s Bay ideal for a leisurely stroll, or take a tourist boat out to catch a glimpse of dolphins and seals.

Excellent location
The property itself is basic yet perfectly comfortably. As mentioned in a previous review, a deep clean would be worthwhile. A couple of updates would soon make this property a five star (a television capable of accessing the internet so you’re not limited to free view, a nice coffee pod machine, a juicer / blender etc). The packet of biscuits in the welcome pack was a nice touch but the singular coffee sachets & tea bags made it look cheap. It’s the location that makes this property an absolute must stay, especially if you have a dog. Ruswarp is such a pretty village with some lovely walks into Whitby. We discovered some fantastic walking and running routes. The public transport links are easily accessible too. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Sunny at sunnyside
Had a fantastic stay at Sunnyside. Ruswarp is a Nice quiet village outside Whitby. Beautiful 1mile walk along railway directly into centre of Whitby. Especially lucky when steam train passed us. Very quiet scenic area. House was very clean and perfect size. Nice sized bedrooms throughout with a nice attic en-suite bedroom on top. Steep stairs, but expected in a small Victorian cottage. Nice seating areas front and back. My elderly in-laws loved it. Communication with very nice owners was excellent. Much appreciated to be able to stay in there lovely home.
