Cuxach Mateu is located within walking distance of the Old Town of Pollensa where there are numerous café bars, restaurants and shops, as well as a weekly Sunday morning farmer's market. The long sandy beaches of Cala San Vicente, Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia are also within easy driving distance. The villa is modern and comfortable and includes air-conditioned bedrooms aiding a good nights' sleep after lazy days by the pool, or out and about exploring the island. The well fitted kitchen provides everything needed for a self-catering holiday, including a dishwasher, making evenings clearing away very easy. Sliding patio doors from the lounge open out onto the welcome shaded terrace, offering a lovely spot to relax with a book or a cooling drink whilst taking in the pretty gardens and sparkling swimming pool.

Eine gute Zeit

Wir waren im 07/21 in der Villa Mateu,welche etwas versteckt und zurückgelegen an der Hauptstraße liegt, welche aber so gut wie nicht zu hören ist. Das Außengelände ist sehr schön mit einem tollen Pool welcher 1 x in der Woche gereinigt wird. Alles wirkt gepflegt und im guten Zustand. Innen ist die Villa etwas in die Jahre gekommen was z.B. in der Küche schnell auffällt. Anfangs hatten wir technische Schwierigkeiten mit der Beleuchtung und der Klimaanlage ( welche nur stundenweise läuft) diese wurden aber bereits am nächsten Tag behoben. Insgesamt können wir aber einen Aufenthalt in der Villa Mateu empfehlen. Die Laufzeit der Klimaanlage müsste verlängert werden und die Zeiten der Beleuchtung des Außengeländes sind viel zu kurz. Ab 24 Uhr gibt es kein Licht mehr im Garten.

Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön. Der Garten ist toll, der Pool und die Terrassen sind ein Traum. Es sind ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser, Töpfe,.... vorhanden. Es gab genügend Handtücher, die zwischendurch auch mal gewechselt wurden. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an wohlgefühlt. Es ist eine Tischtennisplatte da und es waren auch Bücher und Federballspiel usw vorhanden. Ich denke, wir waren nicht das letzte mal dort. Das Sofa ist schon sehr alt und durchgesessen, auch hat der Backofen nicht funktioniert. Es wäre schön, wenn ein paar Sachen vorhanden wärern: Spülschwamm, Müllbeutel, Tabs für die Spülmaschine - man muss ja leider immer Packungen kaufen, von denen man nur einen Bruchteil verbraucht. Ich bin jetzt nicht so empfindlich, aber die vorhandenen Haare in den Waschbecken haben mich doch schon sehr gestört. Da könnte man noch etwas besser drauf achten.
