BEAUTIFUL VIEW

Property had beautiful view. Its about 100 steps down to get to the property and another 70 steps down to get to the beach. Beach is very rocky but views are amazing from the patio. It was not much of a vacation. Ants infested the property. Under air conditioners, burners in kitchen, on walls, in sink, on counter tops, they even got in our luggage. Patio also was infested with them.

Lorenzo the property owner is great. The villa is at the bottom of Massa Lubrense with a couple of small markets and restaurants. The beach is rocky and you need water shoes. The sunsets are beautiful. It is a short ferry ride over to Capri and there are small ferries from the port in Massa. We also did a private boat tour from the port to Amalfi. It is a convenient location and out of the hustle and bustle of Sorrento which is very very busy. Beautiful trip.

Beautiful space BUT

First - unit is BEAUTIFUL and the hosts were extremely responsive and kind. They were wonderful people and I have nothing but kind words for them. The location is where the challenge comes in. It’s a very narrow road and cabs don’t want to come there because there’s no place to turn around. We had an extra kind driver who backed up the steep hill as far as he could. The unit is 100 steps down from the road. That said- the host carried our bags both ways! We appreciated that so much. Once in the condo you are 70 steps above the beach. The beach is very rocky. The water is full of large rocks and they were slippery. Bring water shoes. The nearby town is a 15 minute walk. There’s at least one nice restaurant and a very small store. You can get excursions to Capri and Positano from there. Walk back before sunset or it gets very dark. Getting a cab from this location is pretty difficult but we managed to get the one driver to come back to get us. I can’t stress enough how lovely and clean the condo is. And the hosts were exceptional. The location and rocky beach were the only downsides.

Das selbst sehr schön, die Lage und der Blick auf Ischia und Capri wunderschön. Es sollte aber erwähnt werden, dass es ca 100 Stufen zum Haus hinunterzusteigen sind bzw. weitere 70 zum Meer - für Besucher mit Gehbehinderungen eher nicht geeignet.
