We are Jasmina and Martin, a Slovenian-Croat couple who loves nature, family life, and hosting guests from around the world. We both work full-time but find joy in sharing our peaceful countryside corner with travelers. Our home and holiday cottage sit on a small family farm with a vineyard and a large garden, passed down through generations. We enjoy hiking, cycling, caring for our land, and creating a warm, relaxed space where guests can feel at home and close to nature.
Why they chose this property
This has always been our family’s place. The land, vineyard, and garden were inherited, and over time we transformed part of the property into a cozy retreat for guests. We chose to stay here because we love the quiet rhythm of village life, the views of vineyards and meadows, and the feeling of fresh countryside air. At the same time, we are only minutes from Terme Čatež, restaurants, river paths, and local attractions. It is the perfect mix of nature, comfort, and easy access to everything families enjoy.
What makes this property unique
Our cottage is part of a small family farm with its own vineyard and spacious garden, offering guests a peaceful and authentic rural setting. It is not a classic farmstay with meals or livestock, but rather a private countryside retreat where families can relax in nature and enjoy a “home-from-home” feeling. The location is quiet and surrounded by greenery, yet close to Terme Čatež, cycling paths, hiking trails, and charming local towns. Space, privacy, and warm hospitality make this a special place to stay.
