About this property

Aenea, espacio y confort a menos de 600m de la playa

Refurbishment completed in 2020, the owner has turned one of the original old Roche houses into a modern property of character that presses all the right buttons for a successful family or group holiday. Sitting on a double plot, Aenea has a 1,600m2 garden, a fabulous pool, and is just 600m from one of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz. The house sleeps 10 in well distributed accommodation over two floors, the focus of the conversion having been to let as much of the soft Cádiz light filter in through the pines as possible. It all makes for a comfortable and stylish experience, the greens, blues, and yellows of the decor complementing the turquoise pool, which is no more than a hop, skip, and jump from the bedroom wing and sitting room.

There are four bedrooms on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Three of the ground floor bedrooms are in the bedroom wing, two of them, which share a bathroom, with direct access to the pool area. The third bedroom, which has an ensuite bathroom, opens on to the garden on the other side of the house. All these bedrooms have large sliding glass doors on to their terraces. The fourth bedroom is at the other end of the house, next to the kitchen. And the fifth bedroom (the main suite) is on the first floor, with its own large roof terrace overlooking the pool and the rest of the garden. All the bathrooms have large walk-in showers.

The living area is straight ahead of you as you walk in through the front door; and beyond the large glass doors opposite are the beautiful partially covered terrace and pool. On the far side of the pool, a couple of steps lead up to the main lawn which stretches away under the pines. The terracing and the gradient of the plot mean that the whole garden can be enjoyed from the comfort of a sofa, a bed, a sunbed, or the pool….just take your pick!

The open-plan living area provides everything you will want from a holiday property of these characteristics: the kitchen is separated from the dining room by a bar, and the dining room sits just off to one side of the sitting room; both of these open on to the terrace and the outdoor dining table and living area. The kitchen itself is brand new, minimalist in design, and houses all the appliances and accessories you will need for cooking up a storm. Off to the side of the kitchen is the utility room.

In short, this is a very well conceived and executed conversion that enables you to enjoy the lovely terrace and pool and spacious garden from both inside and out.

A walk of about 200m will take us to the local shop, pharmacy, a couple of bars and restaurants, and childrens’ playground. Roche also has its own tennis and padel courts and five-a-side football pitches. In the summer months, there are several beach bars/restaurants to choose from within walking distance, some of which are now staying open all year. A 5-minute drive will then provide you with a far larger selection of both bars and restaurants. The area offers an endless list of activities and if you book with us, we provide you with detailed information on all our recommendations, details on local amenities, and our up-to-date guide to the best of everything! You could spend a wonderful holiday here without a car, and just hire bikes; but, assuming you will have a car, it’s 15 minutes to Conil, 20 minutes to the hill-top village of Vejer-de-la-Frontera, 30 minutes to Cadiz, 40 minutes to Tarifa and Jerez, and 90 minutes to Seville, all of which are well worth visiting.

La maison est conforme à l’annonce : moderne, chaleureuse, bien équipée, patio couvert avec table de jardin, salon de jardin, extérieur bien entretenu et très belle piscine. Le seul inconvénient des travaux de construction tôt le matin et tard le soir Nous avons adoré la maison

Beautiful house & location
We had a great time in a very modern and well maintained house. It was super clean and had everything you need. The property is huge and has a lot of space. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, around 5 minutes (by car) or 10 minutes (walking) distance from an absolutely beautiful beach. There’s a small shop close by too. Andrew was very responsive and took care of everything in no time.

Der perfekte Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub
Wir haben das Haus geliebt! Es ist sehr geschmack- und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend und geht über das notwendige deutlich hinaus. Hervorzuheben ist die tolle überdachte Terrasse mit einer Loungecke und einem Esstisch. Hier kann man auch bei Nieselregen sehr gemütlich sitzen. Die Schlafzimmer verfügen über große Einbauschränke mit viel Stauraum. Zum Strand geht man etwa 10 Minuten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Colnil und Novo Sancto Petri zu hauf. Es fehlte an nichts.

La zona es perfecta para pasar unos dias en familia en la playa rodeado de un bosque de Pinos preciosos. La casa es muy adecuada para una familia y disponia de todo lo necesario para una estancia confortable. Como mejora deseable seria disponer de secadora.

Absolutely fantastic stay with 2 families (4 each) at this lovely place. Great house, very spacious, sunny yet secluded behind pine trees. Pool is very large and refreshing. House is full equipped, nothing missing at all. Good location near the beach (roughly 500m). Would definitely come again!! Thanks to dos extremos for the great organization
