Close to Mervent Forest, the Marais Poitevin or (Venise Verte), Xanton Lakeside Beach with slides, lifeguard, shallow area, diving pontoon, bar with snacks, picnic area and play area. 1 hour from coast and beaches and islands of both the South Vendee and Charente Maritime. 1 hour from Ile de Re.
