Centrally located two-bedroom rooftop apartment near local transport, shops and central station.
Large terrace overlooking the city. Superb views of the Antwerp skyline.

This rooftop apartment is on the 8th floor smack in the centre of Antwerp.
It has a spacious living/dining room with comfy sofabed, cable TV, docking station, wifi ...

From the two bedrooms (both with a double bed) you have a beautiful view of the Antwerp skyline, MAS, cathedral, harbour....

In the bathroom you will also find a handy washer/dryer and hair dryer.

You can eat out in the neighbourhood or cook you own meals in the modern fully equipped kitchen.( gas stove, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, Senseo coffee maker etc.)
In the kitchen you will also find basic food stuff such as coffee, tea, sugar, spices, etc.

Everything is fully appointed - we even throw in the towels!

For the little ones we have high chairs, a travel cot, toys, board games, plastic dishes, children's cutlery etc

You can have breakfast, dinner or a drink on the large terrace looking out over the city.

Popular hangouts ( artsy and alternative scene) are all within walking distance ( 't Laar, Kerkstraat, cafe Baeliet, Mombasa, resto Miro, ...)

Near the UGC cinema in the Breydelstraat you will find a square full of small restaurants where you can eat outside.

Shops, train station, zoo, cinema, restaurants and public transport are around the corner, perfect for a weekend or midweek exploring the city.

There is parking space available in the street (4 euro daily) or in a commercial parking lot nearby.

Why not discover Antwerp and its surroundings by bike ?
Pick up one of the Velokes (the popular bike rental system) at the nearby Central Station.

The apartment is a few blocks from the central station. Here you can get direct train connections to Brussels & Ghent (40 mins), Bruges, Amsterdam (2 hrs), Paris (2 hrs 40 minutes) ….

There is plenty of tourist information/maps in the apartment to ensure you have a wonderful time exploring Antwerp.

Please note that this apartment is on the roof of the building. This means that you have an elevator to the 7th floor and you have to walk 14 steps to the 8th floor.

Disappointed

Property was as stated, clean but tired. Area was close to station but quite a distance to old town, bars and restaurants etc. All was ok until we returned home and received a message saying we had damaged the wood floor leaving footprints on wood requiring professional repair. I have no idea what these marks were but I do know the floor had not been maintained for years. There was large areas where any varnish had worn away leaving the wood bare and anything spilt, walked in or anything else would just soak into the wood. The roof terrace was also filthy, anyone walking back off the terrace could easily bring dirt into the apartment . We were careful but these issues were not something we should have to worry about. This apartment needs an upgrade and proper maintenance. The floor should have a hardwearing sealant applied .
