About this property

Cedar Hot Tub Lodge - 2 large Bedrooms, ensuite Shower Room, Luxury Living Space

Cedar Lodge is luxurious in every way, from the furnishings to the terrace, hot tub and amazing view. It's got it all in stylish abundance, with a touch of class and charm to finish it off.

This lodge will surprise and delight in every way, from the second you step through the door. Sleeps 4 in two large bedrooms. Master has fitted wardrobes and large en-suite shower room. The second is a good sized twin (full size single beds) with fitted wardrobes. There's also a family bathroom.

The living space is open plan and stunning in every way. With large double doors leading to the terrace and an idyllic view over the Northumbrian countryside and Percy Woods Golf Course. Unlimited Golf included in price of holiday.

Take a seat and relax, enjoy some alfresco dining or a dip in your personal hot tub. The terrace is large with glass surrounds and is the perfect place to take in the views and relax with friends and family.

Percy Woods Country Park is well established and surrounds the 18 hole golf course. Bring your clubs and enjoy a round or two on us, or simply take a wander round the grounds and do some wildlife spotting. You're likely to come across deer, they come up close and are beautiful creatures to see.

There is plenty to see throughout Northumberland and some fabulous hidden treasure to find and explore. Stroll along the dog friendly beaches, visit ancient castles or take a trip to the Farne Islands, it's a county full of history and fun for the whole family.

Nice but.........
The site and lodge was easy to find with the directions provided. The site itself is very big with limited amenities of a reception building, play area, hot food van and a small club accessed through the woods and across the golf course. The golf course looked pretty good and quiet but we didn't use it. Cedar Lodge: The outside appearance as you approach and park is quite bland and non appealing with brown cladding, old slabs and uncut grass. Inside the lodge is very spacious and open plan with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The facilities are all there although little things missing like a cheese grater and potato peeler (not essential but annoying). The cleanliness was somewhat lacking with a greasy hob extractor, stained sofas, mouldy shower door runners, old water in the kettle and algae covered entrance steps. We actually took a small rug/runner to protect the carpet from wet shoes stepping inside as there's no porch. The decking is only to the rear with some chairs, table and a hot tub which is easily overlooked by the other lodges and not particularly private. The hot tub has a manual heavy, bulky cover that you need to remove and replace each time you use it, and no parasol or overhead cover if it's a bit drizzly. There is no view of the golf course as the trees and bushes are overgrown and a fence to stop the golf balls coming over. Beware of the FBI (fun busting idiots), during our first night there was a very loud party going on beyond 3am in a neighboring lodge but on our last evening the FBI appeared in the darkness at 22:03 to remind us there was a 10pm noise and hot tub curfew on the site!! We enjoyed our stay for its location to go off touring the area and comfort within the lodge as it was nice but.....for the facilities, outside area and price, we wouldn't stay again.

Great lodge in great location
Lovely large spacious lodge - this is our 2nd visit but were a little disappointed by the stains on carpet, sofa and chairs in lounge compared to previous visit when everything was spotless. En-suite shower shower seal spotted with black marks making it feel dirty even though it was really clean. Overall would recommend as Lodge in great position, fab comfy beds and very private position with lovely hot tub for relaxing and watching local wild life (deer, ducks and rabbits) passing by.

Lovely stay
Loved our stay again at Percy Wood. Different cabin this time but just as comfortable with a lovely hot tub for that extra bit of a holiday treat. Percy Wood is a great central location to visit Northumberland, we will definitely visit again.

6/10 Okay

A nice lodge
We had a good holiday, enjoyed the lodge, a few things would have made it better like a cloth, only a sponge offered for cleaning, no cleaning products for toilet ect, weeds all around the lodge, decking needing a clean. Did enjoy the hot tub. Table was needing fixed and patio door also needed fixed, it was promptly done on the Monday. Good place to stay if you have dogs, we didn’t have any so wouldn’t stay again.
