Summary:
The Lodge is a unique and modern property located in a remote area, not far from Amble. This newly renovated and spacious Lodge is the perfect retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of day to day life, and enjoy the beauty of Northumberland.

With three bedrooms sleeping up to six guests, two bathrooms, beautiful outdoor space with furniture for relaxing and dining, and private parking on site you can escape to Morwick Lodge and enjoy a self catering stay.

The Space:
The Lodge has been furnished and equipped to a very good standard offering ideal accommodation for small groups or families.

This single-story home features a living room, spacious kitchen, a bright dining area with direct access to the private gardens, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The living room is a comfortable space featuring two large sofas, a log burning fire and a flat screen TV with Freeview channels. The ideal space for relaxing evenings with your loved ones.

The modern and spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for a self-catering stay. The breakfast bar with casual seating creates a lovely space for social cooking.

Leading on from the kitchen is a large dining area with a glass roof lantern. The room is flooded with light, with views from every angle to the private outdoor space. Open the patio doors and let the fresh Northumberland air flood in, whilst you enjoy home cooked meals with your guests.

The Lodge features three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin. The master double features an ensuite shower room, whilst the remaining bedrooms have access to the main bathroom in the property. Both bathrooms offer a shower, WC and basin.

With sumptuous bedding and luxury linens you are guaranteed a peaceful night sleep.

The outdoor space is ideal for relaxing and dining al-fresco. With large comfortable outdoor sofas on the large, decked area, and a dining set on the paved patio area. The Lodge offers the perfect spot for enjoying those long summer evenings in beautiful surroundings.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys for The Lodge are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

There is private, on-site parking for up to three cars.

The Neighborhood:
The Lodge is located in the village of Warkworth, just 4 miles from Amble on the Northumberland coastline.

Amble has a bustling marina and long stretching sandy shores, there is plenty of fun to be had here. You can try your hand at watersports as there are plenty of activities on offer including sailing, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Hop on a boat trip to The Coquet Island, just a mile off the coast, to discover an array of wildlife. There are 35,000 nesting birds in the summer and a colony of over 600 seals!

Amble is also home to delicious restaurants and cosy pubs so you can enjoy a truly relaxing break. As Amble is a fishing town, you can expect the best seafood fresh from the coast. If it’s shopping you’re looking for, the town has lots of independent stores. Head to Harbour Village and you’ll find 15 brand new pods selling arts, crafts, food, drink and gifts.

Getting Around:
You’ll find travelling around Northumberland easy, whether you explore with or without a car, thanks to well-thought out bus and train services in operation.

Acklington railway station, situated 1½ miles southwest of The Lodge, is part of the East Coast Main Line, which runs between London King's Cross and Edinburgh Waverley.

Explore Northumberland by car, taking in lovely landscapes, dramatic spots and fascinating history along some of the most scenic roads in the country. Drive the Northumberland Coastal Route, a 39-mile stretch spanning the coastline, taking in seaside villages like Seahouses and Alnmouth.

Lovely family stay
We enjoyed a short family break with the family and dogs Lovely property in a quiet peaceful rural area. Wifi can be patchy and we could not access terrestrial TV at all, this didnt affect our stay but could be a problem for some.
