Lovely garden, near (organised) beach, noisy til midnight

They were flexible about us arriving later than stated. Set in a lovely olive grove. Apartment was cool, mosquito nets, Aircon in 1 room. Kitchen small, 1 person only, and needs more equipment, or at least kitchen knives. Loved the barbeque and outside shower. The host asked for cash for sheets / linen and aircon use upfront , even tho it was not listed in the details on VRBO, but when we pointed that out they quickly repaid so no problem. The beach is 15 min walk, some 'public' beach but mostly organised umbrellas that are not available. Sandy beach. Lots of campsites all around which blast out music til midnight (mid August, maybe not the case in other months) so not very relaxing on the terrace but the apartment had good double glazing and was quiet.

Vacanza fra gli ulivi e il mare

L'appartamento è immerso in un’incantevole uliveta molto tranquilla, non lontana dalla strada principale, ma senza specifiche e dettagliate indicazioni, difficile da trovare (non c'è geolocalizzazione). La Signora Annamaria, accogliente madre del proprietario, è stata molto cortese ed è venuta a prenderci sulla strada principale altrimenti sarebbe stato molto complesso arrivare da soli alla casa; consigliamo di accertarsi di avere il suo numero di telefono prima dell'arrivo (a noi purtroppo non era stato fornito). La location è davvero ottima, a metà strada tra Vieste e Peschici; in pochi minuti in auto sono raggiungibili supermercati, farmacia e, se interessano, spiagge attrezzate. Necessari invece tra i 20 e i 30 minuti per raggiungere suggestive e stupende calette. L'appartamento è molto spazioso e confortevole, e lo spazio esterno davvero funzionale con parcheggio privato, barbecue e doccia personali e lavatrice comune. Purtroppo, probabilmente, l'annuncio sul sito non è aggiornato: La biancheria camera + bagno è disponibile a richiesta al costo di 10 € a persona (dal momento che nella sezione servizi non era segnalato niente a riguardo, lo abbiamo chiesto qualche giorno prima della partenza). È segnalata invece, nella sezione servizi, l’aria condizionata, ma soltanto al momento del check-in ci è stato comunicato che era disponibile solo a richiesta, al costo di 10 € al giorno. Fatta eccezione per queste piccole incomprensioni il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole.

Appartement zoals beschreven in advertentie, zeer rustig gelegen en toch dicht bij stad en strand

Het appartement is gelegen in een olijvenboomgaard en is zonder hulp van de eigenaar nauwelijks te vinden. Het leidingwater is geen drinkwater. Deze minpuntjes worden echter goed gemaakt door de hartelijkheid van de gastvrouw, het appartement en de rusti
