A Blissful Holiday

Villa Calm was everything we hoped for. A beautiful stone-built building, modern, comfortable , compact, peaceful, wonderfully set on a steep hillside overlooking Skopelos chora. Surrounded by pine and olive trees, with owls and birds of prey, secluded and private, yet an easy 5 minute drive to the delights of the beautiful town. Perfect for 4 people, the house was well equipped (we did buy a baking tray for moussaka), and there is a supermarket at the end of the road. West facing, in late August the sun hits the villa’s terrace at 10.30am, so enjoy the cool of the early morning. East facing Stafylos beach is a 5 minute drive away for early morning dips. Other beaches accessible along the west coast road. Altogether the perfect place for a happy holiday. We will come back.
