Masseria Sitamara is a historic place, with the charm of a bygone era that we’ve only known through our grandparents’ stories; we wanted to keep it just as it is—no frills, no excesses—but with all the comforts needed to pamper our guests during their stay. Within the estate, in addition to a splendid 40-square-meter pool, stands the small farmhouse “C’era una volta”: 150 square meters with 2 bedrooms featuring private bathrooms, a spacious living area with a sofa and armchairs (with the option of adding extra beds), a large, fully equipped kitchen with an induction cooktop, refrigerator, tables, pantries, and a romantic, high-efficiency wood-burning stove—also ideal for roasting. <br><br>The cottage features air conditioning in all rooms, latex mattresses and pillows with aloe-filled pillowcases, beechwood slatted bed frames, and simple furnishings in the traditional farmhouse style. The bathrooms are spacious, featuring walk-in showers with tempered glass and colorful cement tiles, restored antique mirrors, and handcrafted chestnut wood vanity cabinets painted with non-toxic water-based paints. <br><br>In the spirit of environmental sustainability, we have minimized the use of plastic toiletries, opting instead for ceramic items.<br><br>The farmhouse is nestled in the countryside, with natural light flooding the rooms through large windows; the bedrooms can be accessed directly from the outside using a key card.
