Horta das Laranjas - Alojamento Local Total

It consists of two two-bedroom apartments, set within a centuries-old vegetable garden, allowing guests to enjoy a unique rural experience combined with the utmost comfort and elegance.

The magnificent view from the property, overlooking the Palace of the Counts of Ficalho, the Torre das Portas de Beja, and the Aqueduct, serves as a “calling card for Serpa.”

The local lodging project we’ve embraced allows guests to experience a space where history lives on through images and traditional agricultural practices that have gradually been lost over time. The knowledge of working and tending a vegetable garden, along with the irrigation system of Arab origin—which draws water from a well—complements the enjoyment of silence right within the city itself.

Here, enjoy the freshness of the orange trees and the chance to make your own juice or pick aromatic herbs to brew your own tea.

Having a vegetable garden means being able to harvest what you’ve sown, taking the time to watch it grow, and savouring seasonal vegetables and fruits.
We invite our guests to be part of this routine.

Each two-bedroom apartment features two en-suite bedrooms, each with a TV and air conditioning. The living room, with a sofa and TV, includes a dining area. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and a few extras. All rooms offer a spectacular view of the town of Serpa and feature an outdoor terrace. The recreational area includes a swimming pool with a changing room and a paddling pool to keep the little ones entertained.
