About this property

Cosy County Cottage - North Cottage

The cottage is a fantastic base to explore the North East from, with a light, airy open plan kitchen and living area which offers comfort and cosiness in front of the fire on an evening and fantastic sunlight through the patio doors to the garden during the day. We have a stunning bathroom with huge walk in rain shower and a jet bath to enjoy a long soak and a glass of wine after a long day walking in the nearby hills, shopping in the local market towns or cycling at hamsterley forest.

To the rear of the cottage is off street parking and withing walking distance a secure play park for the children and footpath directly to the rear to take the dog out.

We have a fantastic private garden with outside table and chairs making for a lovely sunny spot to enjoy a warm summer evening.

10/10 Excellent

Home from home, again
I, my wife and our daughter, greatly enjoyed our second stay this year in July. North Cottage is within walking distance of my wife's family's house so made a great base to visit from. The well equipped kitchen, living room and bath room made our stays comfortable, with basics well provided for, such as towels, coffee and entertainment. North Cottage has been a home from home.
