The cottage has parking for one small car to the rear and there is plenty of parking nearby for others, you will have your own garden to the front of the property with views over Cockfield fell t sit and enjoy after a day exploring the surrounding areas. The whole cottage has a lovely light feel, a great place to relax after a day out.

Cockfield is a village on the edge of Teesdale, County Durham, England. It is situated 8 miles to the south-west of Bishop Auckland, 15 miles north-west of Darlington and 40 miles south-west of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Remains found on Cockfield Fell suggest there was a settlement in the area during the Iron Age. There are village pubs all within walking distance, a coop shop with essentials shopping items and a village doctor too.

Beautiful cottage in quite location.
Booked the cottage for a few days 'away from it all' and this cottage served us perfectly. The village was really quite to the point of silent, just what we needed!

Gorgeous property in village location. No noise at all. Wonderful stay.
Cosy cottage with all the facilities you need. Clean and warm. Couple of walks from the cottage and a small drive to Raby Castle which is interesting to visit
