Original Mongolian Yurt in Charente

Enjoy the ultimate glamping experience in our beautiful Mongolian Yurt in Le Vieux-Cérier. It combine the luxuries of home with the freedom of the outdoors to ensure you have a relaxing and comfortable stay.


Situated on a small campsite, Stargazer Yurt and Twin Emperor Tent. you’ll be sharing the communal kitchen and will find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has 2 Fridge/Freezer’s,  a Hob, an Oven, a Kettle, a and a Combi oven/grill and microwave along with Gas Bbq and Carbon Bbq. Dining table and chairs.
Your sleeping areas have everything needed to relax. The Yurt is powered by a solar panel which provides lights and a power bank to charge mobiles, computers etc. Fall asleep watching the stars through the clear crown of the yurt. What a truly magical way to fall asleep. You'll find a television and internet access.


This Yurt sleeps 4, 2 in a King size bed and 2 in a French Day bed converts to a double. A additional single bed can be added


The bathrooms are communal and there is one newly fitted tiled bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. Stargazer Yurt has use of a compost toilet.

Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
The Charente has so much to offer. We have complied a folder with details of the many things to do.
Pool Table, Table Tennis, Darts and Table Football are available along with other activities.
Watch the stars at night through our telescope, you can see the space station which is truly amazing.


House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am.
- Smoking is not allowed in the Yurt but is allowed on the terrace.
- There are on-site parking facilities available at the property.
- Pets are allowed at the property.
