A truly amazing conversion from the former School Rooms with delightful high ceilings and beautifully decorated.. All on the Ground Floor:

Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Hot tub for 4 (Private). Bike store. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. The School Rooms at Sorbie School are a true delight! As the name suggests the cottage has been converted from the original school rooms for the village School and it is quite simply stunning.
The owner’s attention to detail is evident from the moment you walk in the door. The spacious open plan living space is enhanced further by the vaulted ceilings and with the large wood burner in the corner, it really is a lovely space. The high-quality finish of The School Rooms at Sorbie School continues in the luxury bathroom and delightful bedroom with super comfy bed and bedding. The fun doesn’t stop, inside as you can enjoy the delights of the Sauna which is set quietly in the garden.
The area surrounding The School Rooms at Sorbie School will also delight you. Enjoy the rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches which benefit from the warmth of the passing Gulf Stream. The area is steeped in history and the landscape diverse, a haven for artists, birdwatchers and walkers. The Mull of Galloway, with its lighthouse and grass topped visitor centre, is Scotland’s most southerly point with amazing views of Ireland, England, the Isle of Man and Scotland! A must is a visit to the world-renowned Logan Botanical Garden with its many exotic plants and trees. The Unesco World Heritage site of the Galloway Forest and Dark Skies Park is close by with its superb dark skies at night and is well worth visiting. There are many walking and cycling trails on your doorstep, as well as golf, sailing, fishing and riding.
