Surrounded by mature shrubs, lush foliage and stone patios, it is easy to imagine you have stepped back in time. The swimming pool and outside barbecue area provide the perfect promise of fun filled days and evenings.
Step inside, through the old wooden doors into a delightful room laid with flagstones, old stone walls and a wonderful beamed ceiling. The beautiful stone fireplace has been used over many centuries. Throw open the wooden shutters and venture upstairs to the master bedroom and pinch yourself. What could be better than this?

Just a few minutes from the modern beach resorts of Maleme and Platanias, step back in time as you turn into the meandering lane that leads to the picturesque hamlet of Metochi, with a history dating back to the 1700’s, when Crete was still under Turkish rule.
