Perfect location but Sykes has some refurb work to do

Good things: A fantastic location right near the beach, very spacious living area and two nice bedrooms with comfy beds. Room to improve: The cleaner was lovely and did a great job but there is ground in dirt and the cottage has been refurbished on the cheap. Basics like oven gloves missing. Heating not working as Hive pad broken. Clearly a damp problem in the kitchen and bathroom that needs addressing. Water pipe outside appears blocked. Poor security - flimsy locks on front and back doors. If this had been a personal let I would have been softer but Sykes is a big firm and the cottage requires work. Overall we did enjoy our stay.
