Wonderful 19th Century Neo-Classical Villa with large Pool & extensive gardens.
Villa Evangelini is a beautiful 19th Century neo-classical villa which nestles among extensive gated private gardens, orchards and olive groves in the exclusive area of Poseidonia on the wonderful island of Syros. This coral pink house with grey shutters sleeps up to 15 guests – 9 in the main villa plus 6 in the charming guest houses in the wonderful gardens. The house has been lovingly restored by its owners with antique furniture & vintage carpets to be both stylish and bohemian.
The private full size private pool is surrounded by bamboo fencing to add to the feeling of complete seclusion. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance plus a supermarket and bakery. You can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes. We have a lovely lady who can cook during your stay. Let us spoil you! We have been featured in the International media!
If you prefer not to drive then we can organise taxis and there is a bus stop outside the villa which goes into town regularly.

My family Have used this historical home for holidays for many years but now, as we are all getting a little older, we are happy to share Villa Evangelini with guests who will love it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
Villa Evangelini nestles in Poseidonia - an exclusive area of neo-classical mansions - on the island of Syros. This is where the likes of Onassis spent their summers to get away from the heat of Athens. Poseidonia is like a family village - everybody knows each other and it is such a pleasure to spend time there....
What makes this property unique
Although completely secluded there are three lovely tavernas within walking distance, plus a bakery and supermarket. The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes walk. The bus into town leaves from outside the villa every 45 minutes
