Enclosed garden with lawn, sitting-out-area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This detached property is peacefully secluded yet close to local amenities. It’s a walker’s haven with the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Offa’s Dyke, The Herefordshire Trail and Marches Way all nearby, as well as walks from the doorstep like Blakemere Wood which is on the edge of the Golden Valley.
Opposite the property is the Flits Nature reserve that visitors are welcome to explore. A short drive will take you to Brobury House and Gardens, and the National Trust Weir Garden. A great base to explore the Black and White Village Trail of Herefordshire. There are many places of historical interest such as castles, National Trust properties, Dore Abbey, Hereford Cathedral and Mappa Mundi Centre. Golf, fishing, riding and canoeing can all be found locally. It is within an easy drive of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its literary festivals and known as the "Book Capital of the World", with many craft shops and galleries.
Hereford city is just 10 miles away and slightly further afield there are also the popular Herefordshire towns of Ledbury and Ross on Wye, all host a wide array of independent bars, shops and restaurants for guests to enjoy. There are plenty of areas of interest for guests to visit including Hay Castle, Hergest Croft Gardens, or why not take a canoe down the River Wye, a perfect way to take in the breath-taking views of the Wye Valley, so even the most active of guests are well catered for. After a long day exploring all that Herefordshire has to offer there is a large garden to the rear of the property, with a level lawn with trees, shrubs and an outlook over the orchard.
