Il Gregge is listed for the first time 2022 and were awarded Premier Host.
Il Gregge has a spectacular open plan beamed living area with comfortable sofas and large dining table. Spacious air conditioned bedrooms and bathrooms all with walk-in showers, toilets and bidets. Large outdoor areas for dining, lounging, and with wood fired pizza oven and bbq. Perfect for 2 families. Although 6 bedrooms, we are set up for a maximum of 10 adult-sized people.
The view from the lounge and terrace is spectacular and one you will take back after your holiday is over. There is nothing better than taking a cocktail on the terrace as the sun goes down.
Set in a quite hamlet, its private pool and terraces overlook the beautiful Apuane mountains to the south and the Apennines to the north. The large terrace is perfect for relaxing as the sun goes down before eating 'al fresco'. A wood fired pizza oven and gas BBQ are a big hit with our guests. The large kitchen is very well equipped with American fridge-freezer, ice maker, coffee machine and beautifully presented. The luxury accommodation is ideal for families or couples.
The surrounding area has scenic walks, cycle paths and mountain hikes. Explore the territory on an E-bike or book a guided tour of the Cinque Terre. Walk around the ancient walls of Lucca or visit a colourful market.

Fabulous villa, super stay!

Incredible villa, views are stunning. Plenty of space for 2 families with teenage kids. Louise and Sonia were brilliant ahead of and during our stay. Location is a little more remote than some will need, but it was fine for us. Hope to be back!!

Incredible villa with a view to match!

We had the best ever time at Louise’s property. The villa was beautifully maintained and had everything we could possibly need. The view is unbelievable. It was the perfect place for our four little families.

AMAZING!

Great location, spectacular view of mountains. Perfect summer weather to enjoy the pool and al fresco diner, and why not an outdoor cinema for all! Facilities super comfortable and good taste deco. Modern and italian classic at same time. Best place to chill out under the tuscan sun (and stars!). Best hostess and manager, very friendly and helpful.

We live in London but fell in love with Lunigiana when we visited Italy in 2008. We wanted to buy a holiday home and soak up the Italian culture, food and wine. Our holiday villa is in the same hamlet so we are on hand to help if needed.

Why they chose this property

Our properties are only 15 minutes from the motorway so there is easy access to many towns villages and sights such as the Cinque Terre, Lucca, Parma, La Spezia, Portovenere, Portofino etc. Yet we are located in a very tranquil area with spectacular views. The property is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with views to Carrara where Michelangelo chose his marble for David.

What makes this property unique

The private pool set in landscaped gardens is perfect for a relaxed holiday. There is plenty of play area for the kids and space for all the family. The terraces are large and there are several of them. With plenty of herbs for guests to pick, cooking meals is a pleasure in the well equipped kitchen.
Our guests enjoy, apart from the pool, cycling, walking and exploring the villages/markets and towns of Lunigiana.
