A beautiful quiet place in the mountains

We had a great time in this beautiful place and enjoyed an extended familiy vacation thoroughly. Bonus: stunning mountain view from the panorama window in the living room.

Fantastic property

View was spectacular and property was accurately portrayed in listing. Kitchen was very well equipped, all bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. Property is ideal for a family stay or a stay with friends. Host was very responsive to answer any and all questions we might have had. We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend Casa do Sobreiro.

Lovely and very comfortable home

Such a lovely property with a great setup for a family. The kitchen is the best I’ve had in European stays, and that suited us perfectly. The view from the property is amazing and we spent a very nice three nights. We used it as a home base for a few days and drove to the Douro valley where we had an amazing river tour with Anima Durius on their boat “Unbelievable”. Overall a great stay with the only drawback being its relative remoteness.

Gorgeous views

Excellent property in the mountains of northern Portugal. Great kitchen! Views from every bedroom. We had indoor and outdoor fires every night. This spot is a true getaway with winding roads to get to Porto, Douro or Braga.
