Riverdale Cottage is a charming stone built Holiday cottage situated at the gates of a 13th century castle in the Vale of Clwyd.

The cottage is the perfect retreat for those looking for a cosy break away, relaxing in front of a log fire taking in the views of the castle as the backdrop

Riverdale cottage is the perfect location to base yourselves to explore everything North Wales has to offer.

The space

The Property benefits from off road parking for one vehicle.

On opening the front door you are instantly greeted by character and warmth, with natural wooden beams and a cast iron wood burner. The lounge also offer a TV and two sofas, one of which can extend to a sofa bed if required.

The kitchen has an electric cooker with gas hob and a integrated fridge with freezer shelf. There is a breakfast bar to create a sociable atmosphere.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room providing guests with a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.

The bathroom offer a bath and walk in shower.

The main bedroom has a bay window giving the perfect view of the castle whilst lying in bed.

The second bedroom has the option of either two single beds or a king depending on your requirements.

Fun and fabulous weekend

It was clean, well equipped, everything we needed, beds so comfortable, fabulous bath to have a long soak. Pretty well decorated cottage with comfortable furnitures, friendly helpful host, we had a great time, the view from the cottage amazing, so close to walks and shop for food. We drove to Rhyl beach which was only 10 minutes away. We would definitely return.

this property was very clean, rather minimalist,but that's just my view, the ceiling in the main bedroom has two edges in front of the window, and I think both my partner and I managed to knock our heads every day on one or the other of them, not sure what you could do about them ,maybe a foam strip or something., a radio would very nice to, other wise a neat little property

Beautiful Rhuddlan

Had a great stay at this property with my husband, father and our 2 dogs. Riverdale is a beautiful and quaint property, it had everything we needed for our 4 night stay., the beds were extremely comfortable. We had not visited Rhuddlan before it has a small high street with a number of food outlets, there’s also a pub just up the road and a cafe. The view of the castle is stunning as is the castle itself and the views beyond. We really enjoyed our stay, there was lots to see in the local area we would love to return.
