About this property

Les Fleurs -Two connecting gîtes ideal for large family groups/friends sharing

Les Fleurs are two interconnected gîtes on our family complex. With large families or friends sharing it can be difficult at times to all be in one place with no chance of 'time-out'. Les Fleurs works great for big groups where flexible sharing keeps everyone happy. With 5 bedrooms and a good mix of double and single beds sleeping arrangements are easy to sort. One kitchen is large enough for all 11 to eat together leaving the second kitchen as a great breakfast room for early risers and later stragglers. Having two sitting rooms is always a bonus as one can be a relaxing quiet room with the other available for more boisterous groups or as the TV room. Outside there are two patios one is large enough for everyone to dine outside whilst the other is a good coffee space. The large grounds are shared with our other gîte Bleuet(sleeps 9) as is the pool, the laundry, the pétanque court and the games store.
Our complex is located in a very quiet hamlet with beautiful walks straight from the door. We are conveniently situated just a couple of minutes from the RN88 giving easy access to both the Tarn and Aveyron departments where there are a wealth of tourist attractions and beautiful bastides to visit.

About the host

Host profile image
We are a couple in our early 60's and live on site in a large barn. We have lived here since 2004 and have enjoyed our time getting to grips with the quiet french way of life in this special place of rural france. We took the farm over when it was nothing more than a group of run down buildings and gradually built up our gite complex from scratch.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area as we felt it has remained typically french and fairly untouched by outside influences - it gives you a little peak into the history behind rural France maintaining many of its original cultural activities and celebrations

What makes this property unique

Having the two gîtes together gives the ideal opportunity for large families of two groups of family friends to holiday together with enough space for everyone to live together but maintain their own time out space when needed.
