Quirky and unique studio accommodation, with thoughtful design and attention to detail and your comfort a priority.
Your accommodation is completely private in the gardens of our family home and enjoys a secluded patio, barbecue area and private garden.
Hut 42 is a short walk to the beach, with a good quality ice cream parlour, wine bar and restaurants literally on the door step.
Hut 42 is12 miles along the coast from Bournemouth and tucked in the New Forest between Highcliffe and Milford on Sea, you have everything you need for a relaxing, romantic getaway.
There is plenty of off road secure parking, a separate entrance and secure storage for any sports equipment you should choose to bring.
We do have family dogs at the property, but they have no access to your accommodation or garden.

Stylish, comfortable and fully equipped

As previous reviews have stated, Deborah and Clive have created a perfect retreat. Welcome supplies of cake, milk and hot drink ingredients; also a personal favourite of house and fashion magazines to browse through ☺️ Very comfortable furnishings and stylish lighting. Lovely warm and quiet surroundings. We stayed two nights and didn’t use our car whilst there. Fabulous meals at the Cliff house and Pebble Beach. Coastal walk to Milford on Sea which took an hour and fifteen minutes. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!

Perfect!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the beautiful Hut 42. Everything we could have needed was provided including a cake and wine! Super location-minutes from the beach and the lovely Beechcomber cafe with sea views. Within easy reach of Christchurch and Mudeford Quay which we visited. Hut 42 was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Thank you Deborah and Clive

We love Hut 42

Hut 42 is the perfect, private accommodation for a couple. We had a very comfortable stay with all the amenities needed for our 2 night break. The beach and clifftop walks are about a 5 minute stroll away. So is The Beachcomber where I can recommend a great cooked brekkie, great for lunch overlooking the Isle of Wight or dinner in the evening. Thank you to Deborah and Clive for being such lovely hosts.

About the host

Hosted by Deborah Hurdle

I am Deborah, a teacher at a local school and my husband Clive is a carpenter. We have only recently completed the conversion of our outbuildings and are very proud of the finished product. We have lived at the beach for nine years and feel blessed to have such open spaces to enjoy. We have five grown children in a busy home and very loved family dogs and cats. We are sociable, friendly and easy going people and want you to enjoy the peace and comfort of Hut 42.

Why they chose this property

We have created a beautiful space and tried to provide all that you need to have an indulgent stay. You have complete privacy and are fenced away from the family home, you are not overlooked and the family dogs can not access your space.

What makes this property unique

Hi 42 is a short walk from the beach, and a short drive from the New Forest. It offers the perfect surroundings for water sport enthusiasts, triathletes, mountain bikers and foodies. There is a rail link connecting to both Bournemouth and Southampton, and a bus route close by.
