Renovated farmhouse on the banks of the Loire

.At the foot of the remains of the Artias castle, in the gorges, of the Loire on the GR3F in a green setting come and discover this comfortable and bright cottage with a capacity of 8 people. The latter on two levels, consists of a kitchen open to the living room with terrace. Upstairs you have large bedrooms with mezzanine overlooking the ruins of the castle of Artias, sanitary facilities on each floor.
Wooden frame cottage created in 2014, backed by an old farm typical of the region converted into guest rooms.
Come and discover the land of juices, the first castles of the Loire, the hiking path of the Loire gorges, that of Saint Jacques de Compostela. Water activities at 3 kms. Shops in the village of Retournac at 3 kms Gite de France 3 épis. Swimming pool on site.

Our RWC Trip to France

We loved the gite, it was clean, everything was well catered for and it had a great setting. Michel and Martine were great hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday but were around if we needed them. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would recommend to friends to stay there and we would gladly go back. The rugby matches we saw in St Etienne were great, fantastic atmosphere and great to watch with people from so many different countries attending.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez Mr et Mme Fayolle. Le gîte spacieux, est très bien équipé, et très agréable à vivre. Au milieu d'une grande propriété, il se situe en pleine nature dans un hameau d'une dizaine de maisons sur la vallée de la Loire, à 3 Kms de Retournac.Le calme est garanti. La piscine est bien sur un atout supplémentaire l'été, nous avons su en profiter pendant cette période de forte chaleur.Mais tout cela de serait rien sans la grande gentillesse de nos hôtes, Michel et Martine.De l'accueil, à notre départ, ils ont su nous rendre ce séjour le plus agréable possible, et répondre à toutes nos demandes, tout en restant très discrets. Très belle emplacement les chambres en mezzanine ne sont pas des chambres fermées je dirais 2 chambres et non 4 il faut passer ds une chambre pour aller à la mezzanine nous étions 3 couples un peu gênant sinon propriétaire agréable bel emplacement

Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part de Michel et Martine. Nous avons pu découvrir la région sereinement : baignade et saut dans La Loire, spectacle de rapaces, balade à la passerelle, lumières nocturnes au Puy en Velay...et déguster le petit alcool de verveine offert par nos hôtes en fin de soirée. La piscine était bien entretenue et le logement confortable, avec une bonne literie. Séjour impeccable, ressourçant et chaleureux.

ruhige Ferienwohnung in eindrücklicher Umgebung

Wir haben mit Freunden die Ferienwohnung für eine Woche genutzt. Gut eingerichtet, Küche für zwei Kochende eng, aber gut eingerichtet, Schlafen für insgesamt 8 Personen im Obergeschoss und Dachgeschoss komfortabel. 1 Dusche / WC im Obergeschoss, 1 Dusche / WC im Erdgeschoss.Wir haben den Aussenpool täglich genossen. Ruhige Umgebung, malerisches Tal, Distanz nach Retournac zum Einkauf rund 3 km.

Week end en famille

Un week-end chaleureux et ressourçant en famille. Nous avons passé un moment formidable chez Michel et son épouse, des hôtes d’une grande gentillesse, attentionnés et toujours disponibles. Le lieu est un véritable havre de paix que l’on hésiterait presque à partager tant il est préservé ! Leur gîte est superbe, niché dans un cadre splendide, avec de vastes espaces verts parfaitement entretenus. La configuration est idéale pour les enfants, qui se sont régalés tout le week-end entre jardin, balançoire et piscine, le tout avec une vue imprenable sur le château d’Artias. Un lieu où l’on a qu’une envie : revenir.

Super Aufenthalt

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen bei Michel und Martine. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und ist gut eingerichtet. Das Pool war natürlich das Highlight für unsere Kinder. Die Gastgeber sind extrem nett und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Man kann viel unternehmen von dort aus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Logement idéal et hôtes sympathiques

Weekend entre amis réussi grâce à un logement spacieux, avec une belle terrasse dans un cadre magnifique et retiré (montagne autour, vue sur un château en ruine sur les hauteurs). La maison est superbe avec un terrain de pétanque arboré très agréable. Michel est très sympathique. Les hôtes sont accueillants et de bon conseils sur les alentours. Merci et à bientôt peut être.

Une bonne escapade

L hôte : Michel était très sympathique . Avec ce beau temps - nous avons aussi profité de l extérieur -> barbecues - jeux plein air . Pleins de lieux à découvrir : -> Le Puy en Velay -> la passerelle des Gorges du lignon avec une belle ballade en amont pour y accéder.... Une bonne adresse pour se restaurer : la Bonne Auberge 43 Yssingeaux

Gite très agréable

Gîte très bien équipé au calme et dans la verdure, seul bémol : il n'y a pas quatre chambres mais seulement deux de 4 couchages (dont 2 en mezzanine) et il n'y a aucune isolation phonique entre séjour et chambres (plancher simple) ... quand on séjourne avec des bébés ça oblige à chuchoter !

Tres beau gîte. Bien entretenu et spacieux. 2 belles chambres avec chacune une mezzanine de 2 couchages. Nous étions 6 adultes. Peut vraiment accueillir 8 personnes. Tres bien aménagé.
