A new luxurious lodge built to the highest standard in Bathpool which overlooks the river Lynher and 1840 historic leat. There is an outside balcony with table and chairs with BBQ for the hot summer months. The property is open plan with cosy seating area, smart TV, ambient flame affect fire, kitchen area with table and chairs, sink, combination microwave, electric induction hob. The bedroom area has a king-size bed, sheepskin rugs, mirror wardrobes. There is a spacious shower room also providing towels, towelling robes, hairdryer make up mirror and toiletries. A welcome tray is also provided with tea coffee sugar local fresh milk and if required breakfast tray of bacon, free range eggs, mushrooms, Rolls at an extra cost or Prosecco or local wine for that romantic evening.

Hosting is very new to me but I’ve stayed in many places myself and I know exactly what makes a first class experience, the lodge is built to the highest standard and furnished accordingly there are no reviews yet as this is a new property but after your stay I would appreciate feedback. A free welcome tray is provided with tea coffee sugar local fresh Milk, biscuits and if required at a small cost a breakfast tray with bacon, fresh free range eggs, mushrooms and rolls. Cornish Cream Tea also can be requested Or Prosecco/local wine at a small extra fee for that romantic evening

Why they chose this property

This property is in a central location for walkers just five minutes or so to Stara mediaeval stone clapper bridge and swing bridge, Bodmin Moor with ancient stone circle dating back to Neolithic or Bronze Age, copper and tin mines scatter over the Moors and nearby famous Cheesewring rock formation all within a beautiful area The minions with minions tearooms and many cosy public houses close by. Within a short drive is Jamaica Inn and the Crows Nest supposedly haunted. Golithia Falls, Sibleyback lake waterpark and nature reserve, Colliford Lake the largest inland lake in Cornwall is just a few miles away. Launceston castle 8 miles away once the capital of Cornwall or why not visit the famous Bodmin Jail.

Further afield Looe, Polperro Fowey, Charlestown famous fishing port the location of Poldark to the south and the north Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel, Padstow, St Ives Watergate bay to name just a few

Bodmin area is ideal for cyclists with many routes available

Overhead the magnificent night skies have been desiccated an International dark sky area whereby you feel you can just pick the stars out of the sky on a clear evening.

The gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, Rosemore and many other fabulous gardens are also within easy access.
